That day the base was filled with silence As everyone gathered together around Bulat's lifeless body. Finally the silence broke as Mine started to cry. Tatsumi did his best to comfort her but ended up shedding a few tears himself.

"We shall honor our comrade, our friend, our brother, for he didn't die in vain. Thanks to him we have three new Teigu to bring to the Revolution." Najenda said as she put them on the table next to Bulat.

The one on the far left was Double-Bladed Axe: Belvaac. It's owner was Daidara. The small ring shaped Teigu in the center was called Water Dragon Possession: Black Marlin. It's owner, Liver, was the one who killed Bulat. The last one on the end towards the right was the Teigu Military Music Dream: Scream. It's owner who didn't have a name was the last to die during the fight.

"Now let us go bury our friend outside. He may be dead but he will forever be in our hearts." Everyone besides Mine could just nod solemnly as they picked their friend up together and brought him outside where Tatsumi and Lubbock began to dig a grave right besides Ieyasu and Sayo's.

After the ceremony silence once again rested upon the base. Drew laid on his bed looking at the ceiling. "It was only a week and yet... he felt like family to me." He sighed putting his arm over his eyes. Was he experiencing the same feelings before that he had in the other worlds.

Just as these thoughts raced through his mind he heard a knock at the door. "It's Akame may I come in?" He sat up and looked at the door.

"You may come in." He said with a saddened voice.

Akame walked into the room with her head down. She then closed the door and walked over to Drew not saying a word before quietly laying down beside him and putting her face in his chest.

Drew looked down confused, "Akame?...", but before he could say anything else he heard soft crying and felt tears. He realized why she had come into his room and slowly put his arms around her as her soft cries turned into sobbing. She gripped his arms tightly as she wept. This lasted for a few minutes before she fell asleep. "I know exactly how you feel." Drew wiping away the tears from her eyes as he laid her down onto the bed and covered her in blankets.

After making sure Akame was comfortable he then went outside the base to the hill where Ieyasu, Sayo, and where now Bulat were buried. When he arrived there he found Tatsumi who was standing in front of Bulats. "Hey." Drew said as he walked up to him.

"Hey.." Tatsumi said in a saddened and depressed response.

"How you feeling?" Drew said while standing beside him.

"Well the doctor said I don't have any broken bones. Just some minor injuries but other than that I'm fine." He said not taking his eyes off the grave.

"I didn't mean your injuries. I was talking about your emotions." Drew said but Tatsumi didn't say a word. "Listen I realize you're sad and upset over his death but you need to move forward. It's what he would've wanted.

Tatsumi's just kept staring and after sometime he spoke. "Have you.. ever lost someone close to you."

Drew looked at Tatsumi with a bit of shock. He than looked down remember all of the friends and allies he had lost throughout his time in the other worlds. "Yeah. I've lost a lot of people close to me. More than I can count actually, but with all that darkness there's still a bit of light. A friend once told me that even though a person is gone they are never truly dead. A small piece of them resides inside ourselves, so Bulat, Ieyasu, and Sayo aren't dead." Drew pointed to Tatsumi's chest. "They will always be in there with you." Drew gave him a warm smile which made Tatsumi smile as well.

"Right." Tatsumi said making his hand into a fist. "Than I promise to train and to change this whole entire empire for the better." He said raising it to the sky. "I promise I will!!"

"That's the spirit." Drew said raising his own hand to the sky. "I will too just watch me!"

The two shared a minor laugh they started to discuss past stories and relish in the moments of being alive. Back inside the base Mine watched both Tatsumi and Drew as they talked on the hill. "I see you're spying on your crush." Leone said as Mine freaked out turning around to face her.

"I-I was not!!" Mine said trying to hide the blush on her face.

"Uh huh." She says as she looks out the window. "Hey Mine?"

"Hmm?" She says looking at Leone with a questioned face.

"I think bringing Drew into Night Raid was a good idea. Remind me to thank him one day." She says smiling as she stares at the two boys on the hill.

"Sounds someone has a crush." Mine says with a smirk on her face.

"Nah, Tatsumi is still my first man. So he's all mine." Leone says teasingly towards Mine.

"YOU STAY AWAY FROM HIM YOU BIG CHESTED BROAD!!!!" She yelled at Leone as the yellow haired girl laughed and walked away with Mine following.

Later that night...

Drew walked back to his room stretching. He had talked and laughed with Tatsumi for awhile and he'd lost track of time. As he reached his door he started to think why he left his room in the first place, but before he grabbed the doorknob he remembered. 'Shit I left Akame in my room,' He thought as he gulped and grabbed the knob gently before pushing the door open.

The room was dark with a little bit of the moonlight shining into it. It was silent. No movement of any sorts could be heard within the small room. Drew looked inside and immediately focused his eyes towards the bed. He saw Akame there still in the exact position she was in when he left her there. He quietly shut the door and walked over to the bed and sat down on it gently trying to make little to no noise. As soon as he had sat down he felt a hand tug on his shirt. He turned around to see Akame there staring at him with her red ruby eyes. "Where did you go?" She asked tiredly.

"I had went out to the hill to see Bulat and the others. I ran into Tatsumi and gave him some motivation." Drew said looking at her.

She just smiled and didn't speak another word. She let go of his shirt and cuddled back into the bed and closed her eyes.

"Um shouldn't we get you back to your bed?" Drew said a little worried. All Akame did was shake her head as she buried her head into his pillow. "Do you want to sleep here for tonight?" He said with a slight smile. She nodded still not opening her eyes. "Alright I'll allow it." He stood up about to leave before feeling an arm tug him back onto the bed.

"C-can you sleep with me for tonight?" She said looking at him. He looked at her and all he could do was nod. He then climbed into the bed with her and both of them fell asleep in peace.

Inside Drew's Dream...

Drew opened his eyes to see nothing but a black void around him. "Where am I?" He asked confused as he tried to look around. As he looked back in front of him a girl appeared. She was wearing a kimono and had a sheathed sword fastened to her hip.

"Hello Drew. Do you still remember me?" She said giving him a warm smile.

His eyes widened as he looked her. He was shocked and awed to see his friend again after what seemed to feel like years apart.

Before he could speak another person appeared standing next to her. He had a brown jacket on with bandages all around his arms."Yo." He said with a smile towards him.

Drew couldn't bring out the words to say anything back. As he closed his eyes and reopened them more people started to appear, each from the a different world. As they started to appear one dropped and disappeared. Than all of them started to drop turning the shocking dream into a nightmare as the entire void turned into a blood red. Screams could be heard, screams of death.

Drew put his hands onto his ears trying to stop the noise. "Stop it.. stop it... STOP IT!!!!"

As he said this his eyes were forced open and he jolted forward in his bed. He was breathing heavily and was scared to the bone. Drew looked at his hand and then finally around the room. "What the hell kind of dream was that?" He said. He then laid back down onto the bed and breathed slightly before realizing that Akame was no longer beside him. "I guess she went to go make breakfast or something." He than laid his arm against his eyes. "I can't let anyone else die." He said to himself quietly before getting out of bed.
