Chapter 9: The First Encounter

Drew looked at them with a blank look thinking it was some kind of joke, but looking at both Mine and Najenda he could tell this was real. "So you're telling me that Esdeath took Tatsumi without any reason?"

Both of them nodded. "Akame, Lubbock, and Leone are out there right now watching over him so that, when they can, get the chance to get him out of here and back to us." Najenda said looking at Drew.

Drew just looked at her and a grin came across his face. "Than I will go and help them out." He said moving towards the door.

"No you will not!" Najenda said slamming her first against the wooden table almost breaking it. "You are not allowed to leave the perimeter or help the others. You're still inexperienced in the way we do things here so I shall not allow it."

Drew moved his head and spoke over his right shoulder. "If I may ask, but what kind of Teigu does Esdeath possess that makes her one of the strongest generals?"

Najenda loosened her fist on the table surprised at the question and then sat back in her chair. "Its called Demon God Manifestation: Demon's Extract. In my reference it's one of the strongest teigu in the world. It has the power to control ice and manipulate it. It's very dangerous. No one has ever come back from fighting her."

"Well than I guess I'll be the first." Drew starts to walk holding a hand and giving them a thumbs up. Once outside he starts to run fast and tracks the scent using his nose which had incredible sense of smell. "Lets see how tough this Ice Queen is against a Fire Dragon."

On a Cliff near a Bandits Base...

Tatsumi started to wake up as he felt something pull on the collar that was put on him during the tournament. He yawns and rubs the back of his neck before seeing Esdeath beside him. Immediately he freaks out and tries to get away but is pulled into her sweet embrace. "Oh my Tatsumi your finally away." She said warningly and with a slight blush.

"W-where are we?" He said trying to get slightly away from her so he wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

"We are near a Bandit Base that's been causing the empire trouble. So me and you are gonna watch my my new team, The Jaegers, destroy it and if something happens to one of them you're the backup. So watch cause soon this is what you'll be doing as a member of the team. Consider it as training." She said with the sweetest smile she could muster.

Tatsumi freaked out a little as she held his hand tighter. While that happened the Jaegers moved in towards the base only to be confronted by the front entrances guards. "Stop there.

You have some nerve, attacking the front entrance!" One of the guards said while the rest pointed their guns at the Jaegers.

Seryu lifted up her metallic arm, which Dr. Stylish had created for her. "Coro, number 5." She said with a calm look as Coro grew only to bite her arm completely. Small spurts of blood came out as Coro released and a huge drill appeared from Coro's mouth now attached to her arm. The guards all looked at her than charged at her. "Judgment of the Ten Kings: Emma's Spear of Justice!" He drilled through all of the guards tearing them to pieces with the giant spear. "Next Coro, Number Seven: Mount Taizan Cannon of Justice!" Coro bit off the giant drill and replaced it with a giant cannon which she pointed towards the front gate. She fired a shot and it completely destroyed the entrance into the base causing a few of the guards to take the impact as well. Her smile was as crazy as her own self prejudice for justice.

"I created those weapons, you know?" Dr. Stylish, a tall man with a lab coat on and had a combination of black and a single strike of white in his hair while also wearing gloves, said with a small laugh and smiling at the creations Seryu was using. "My Teigu, God's Hands: the Perfector, increases my speed and precision by a hundredfold. They are the most stylish of the Imperial Arms!" He said with a dazzling tone in his voice.
