Aria's POV.
The few day's after the insident happened with my father, Sammy and I started to talk less and less. Until it got to the point where we wouldn't talk at all.
School was starting up soon and Eve took me out for the entire day, as Oliver had given her the entire day off.
"So," She started, "What's going on with you and Sammy?"
I looked over to her, slightly squinting because of the sun, "What do you mean?" I turned my head, suddenly feeling a pang of hurt/Sadness. Eve sighed,
"Don't do that," She glanced at me, before looking at the road again, "Why are you and Sammy not talking?" I groaned, making it obvious I didn't want to talk about it but Eve didn't care. "I'm not kidding Arianna. I don't think you and Samantha realise how important friends are in this town."
"Whatever." I slid my sunglasses down and turned to look out the window.
We shopped nearly for about half the day, the earlier disagrement behind us. Me and eve bought new clothes, mainly dark piece's, and although I wasn't goth, I didn't like bright stuff. When I got a phone call.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Where are you?" An irritated voice came through.
"Excuse me, but I think you have the wrong number." I said.
"Am I talking to a Miss Arianna Rosser?"
"Yes?"
"Well get yourself to my lab, or I will be extremely mad!"
I realised who it was, "Myrnin? I-"
He cut me off, "Get here now!" and with that, he hung up, making me stare at my phone in utter disblief. I had Eve drop me off at the ally that led to Myrnin's lab and told her to keep my clothes for now, then thanked her for the day out.
I walked into Myrnin's dimly lit lab and called out, recieving nothing - Which slightly annoyed me.
"MYRNIN!" I screamed, knowing if that didn't work, I'd leave.
"Yes dear?" He said smugly as he came round the corner, holding something black in his hands,"Would you like to take a look?" He asked, I shook my head. "Your loss, Bob really is a nice spider."
"Spider!" I jumped back and made sure there was a fair amount of distance between us. Myrnin put Bob back in the cage then shut the top and looked over to me, obviously amoused at my fear of spiders; a soft smile playing on his lips. I bit my lip, then looked at the ground.
"Why are you looking down at the ground?" His voice suddenly next to my ear. My head sprang up, my eyes instantly meeting with his.
"I..I.." I didn't know what to say, but his hand slowly reached out to my cheek, making me lean into his hand.
"How is it I already feel something for you Arianna, when I don't even know you?" His hand cold, but somehow all I could feel was sparks.
"Myrnin.." His lips suddenly on mine. I couldn't help it, my lip''s started to move in sync with his, and my arms went around his neck. He groaned, making me laugh. Slowly he pulled away, but kept his forehead against mine.
"Something funny, Miss Rosser?" He asked, but tightens his arm around my waist
"Yes, you." I pecked at his lips again, and another groan rumbled in his throat again, making me push him away and laugh.
I walked over to the dusty bookshelf and looked through the century old books, when my eyes grazed over a dusty book, I'd been dying to read.
"The Hermetic and Alchemical works of Jason Wolf!" I exlaimed, pulling it off the shelf and carefully ficking through its context.
