Aria's POV.

(Dream)

I silently stood of to the side of to the side of the park and watched the scene before me play out..

"Daddy!!" The little girl shouted, then burst into fits of giggles as her father threw her into the air and caught her as if she weighed nothing. His deep chuckle filled the air around them, as he threw her into the air again. The little girls laughter sounded somewhat familiar to me but was still un identifiable.
The darkness made me squint, as I kept watching. The father was now gently pushing his daughter on the swings, her eyes now staring to close; sleepily, but not before I saw a pale figure enter my line of view. Her walk like a graceful dancer, but primal like an animal.

"I see you've finally come to sense." Her voice clear even as I stood far away.

"I have." His tone cold, but as he lifted the sleeping girl from the swings, the gentleness showed his true emotions. "I can never be the father she needs," He looked down at her sleeping form, "She deserves better than me." He cradled the toddler close to his chest, as if saying goodbye. The woman's silentness sent shivers up my bare arms, but I dismissed it as the man started to talk again.
"She needs to forget about me..." The wind blew, making it impossible for me to hear until it calmed down. By the time it had, the man had stopped talking, and was now looking at the woman. His face was blurry, so I started walking closer.

"You're making the right decision,..." The wind blew again, blocking me from hearing blond woman.

"You know nothing of the pain of leaving your one and only child! The child I thought I would never have! Then Ariana was born and it changed my world!" He stopped, and turned his head to his daughter who now restlessly moaned in her sleep and slowly opened her eyes.

I kept getting closer, until I stood just next to the blond woman, but my eyes completely fixed on the little girl.

"Daddy, it's cold. I want to go home.." She put her arms around the man's neck, who gently squeezed her, then set her down on the ground, but still held her gloved hand.

"Ariana. Say hello to my friend..." The wind yet again blew half of his sentence from my ears.

From the way the little girl waved, I assumed she was saying hello.

"Ariana," The blurred man knelt down in front of the little girl, "You know Daddy loves you..." She nodded, then turned her head and somehow spotted me. Her little face instantly made something inside me snap. I dropped to my knees suddenly remembering. Tears filled my vision, making it blur more.

"Daddy, who's that?" Little me asked, pointing toward me. The man turned and looked at me, but instead of seeing me, he looked straight through me. Obviously not seeing me.
He turned back to little me and smiled, "There's nobody there, Ana." He shook his head. "Ana look at me." His voice horse, but little me didn't notice. "I love you, and I know your young, but one day I hope you'll forgive me for doing this," His voice broke, and I saw tears land on his trousers. Standing up, he took his neckless off and slowly placed it around my little neck and tucked it into my t-shirt, then placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Daddy..."

"Goodbye Ana." He looked at the woman, who nodded. Then he started to leave.

"DADDY!!!" Little me screamed, before the dream faded away.

I suddenly jolted upright, shaking. I quickly looked around, then remembered where I was. I collapsed back into my warm bed, the dream quickly fading from my mind no matter how hard I tried to grasp onto it. Knowing I was fighting a losing battle, I let my mind relax, and the last pictures flashed before fading - Although the word's replayed constantly.

My Mom had always told me my Dad had died when I was two, and didn't like too talk about it as she was extremely young when she had me, and then when my Dad died, she went into a sort of depression; to the point of my grandparents having to look after me for a while.

I sighed, and scrunched my hands up in the duvet as my throat suddenly started to burn and something hot started to make it's way up my throat. I quickly threw the duvet off and ran into the bathroom to unleash another 2 pint's of blood. When I was done, my head hurt to the point I saw star's, and my vision went blurry.

I didn't know how long I was sat on the bathroom floor for, or even noticed I lost consitiousness, until I felt someone pick me and gently place back in bed. Slowly I opened my eyes, ready to weakly thank the person, but was greeted by a face that haunted my dreams.

"You.." I weakly let out.

He rolled his eyes at me, "A simple thankyou would suffice." He shook his head, "I've also called Dr.Theo, a vampire doctor to come see you, as he obviously hasn't been here recently." He then made sure I was tucked in. I turned my head away quickly to cough again, thankfully no blood came up.

Tuning back, my mind replayed the dreams conversation, when I realised, "I know who you are. Dad."
