I pulled my jersey over my head and the dads flooded the room, the place a mass of green and white.
"Hey, get with your family members." I smiled, grabbing my camera.
The designated sons got with their dads, then I snapped a quick picture.
"You have to get in too!" Brenden stated.
"Nope, I don't have anyone so I'm good." I smiled.
"That's what you think." Tyson smiled, Peter and Blake following him.
"Damn sis, you look good in green." Blake laughed.
"I'm a Shank, I look good in all colours." I laughed. "Team meet the brothers, Peter is the oldest, then Tyson, then Blake, then me."
"Get over here." Tyson laughed, and Val grabbed my camera.
"Whoa, I'm almost the same height as you guys now." I laughed.
That comment earned me a few shoves and then we all flashed our dimpled smiles and the camera shutter clicked.
I took it back and flicked around a few of the settings and then aimed it at all the sticks, names and numbers above it, then I put it on the top shelf of my cubby, grabbing my gloves.
"Hey Briar!" Blake yelled.
"Yo." I replied.
"She shoots." Tyson smirked
"She scores." Peter laugh.
"Top shelf and Briar Shank does it again!" I replied.
"Her fourth goal of the night!" The brothers yelled.
"And the crowd goes wild!" All of us cheered, as I was shoved into the wall.
"Now kick ass and make the Shanks proud!" Tyson stated.
I walked through the tunnel, then skated smoothly onto the ice flicking the pick to Tyler and then smashing it into the glass infront of the dads earning laughter as I sang along to the music.
"I'm a star, baby I'm your icon."
I flipped a puck up and caught it, then tossed it to a little kid and iced to a stop infront of Jamie with the rest of the group.
"You feeling ok?" Jamie asked.
"I feel fine, ready to smash some hockey players into the boards." I smirked.
"Give her the puck, at all costs get it in." Jamie stated.
"Everyone deserves a chance, get it in don't pass if it's clear." I argued.
"Pass it to Shank, she'll find the net if it kills her." Jamie stated and the guys hit me with their sticks.
"Find the net, don't let us down." Val smiled.
"No pressure." I mumbled.
--
I passed it between my feet, bunny hopped the puck over the defence foot, slammed it back hand into the net, smashing into the boards.
"Thatta girl!" Brenden yelled.
"Let's get it." Jamie smirked, pointing the handle of his stick at me.
--
"Tye!" I yelled, handing the puck off to him and checking the guy infront of me and Tyler slammed it into the net.
"Tyler Seguin!" I cheered, pounding my fist against his. "Whatta goooaaaal!"
--
"You gotta do something." Jordie panicked.
