Chapter 15: 2 down, 2 to go

Operation capture the lights is a go...

So they each set out to different parts of the school. Mojo had given them profiles of the girl they had to catch, so each one got a specific girl to extract the white light from.

Now we take this story to present time.....

Miyako's POV

I was inspecting the front yard of our school when I heard a blast that was emmited from inside the school building. My head jerked up and my eyes widen. I quickly stopped whatever I was doing and proceeded back in.

I then got out my phone and dialed kaoru 's number and told her to meet me at the school entrance hallway. I walked inside, with only the sound of my heels clicking on the hard sement floor.

I walked along the corridor and came to a halt at the middle of the hallway. It was completely destroyed and rubble was everywhere. But what shocked me the most that there was a body lying there..

I gasped and covered my mouth in horror as I recognize who it was...

"USAGI! "

I quickly ran over to her and shaked my head in disbelief.

They got 2 of us...

2 remaining...

Usagi was laying there, blooded and bruised as  like momoko when she got attacked. I quickly ran over to her and checked her pulse. Thank god she was still breathing. I sigh in relief and quickly tried to bandage some of the wounds that were leaking red fluid.

I ripped off a sleeve of my sweater and quickly wrapped it around her bleeding fore arm and tied a dead knot. As I was just finished, I heard footsteps running towards the location near me.

Finally backup arrived..

"Hey miya-USAGI!!!! "

I heard my ravenette friend yell in horror. She came dashing to the area I was on and looked down on usagi in horror while covering her mouth. Her eyes were wide and she was sweating.

"What the hell happened here, Miya? "

She screamed before tugging her hair. I breathed heavily and looked to her.

"We have to bring her to the hospital ASAP "

We just sent Usagi to the hospital and the doctor said they needed a full exam to decide her condition. Her state was even worse than Momoko!

I curled my fist and Kaoru let out a small growl. We looked at each other and nodded before heading our separate ways.

Kaoru's POV

We nodded and went our separate ways.

I walk out of Usagi's hospital room and started fast walking towards the direction of my house unaware that someone was watching my every move.

I tug on my bag pack and sigh. The enemy got to Momoko and then Usagi...

It's about the matter of time before they aim for the remaining of us. But the question is... Why?

Why would they aim only for us?

It doesn't make any flipping sense.

I grumble to the tiny drops of rain that made contact with my head. I raised my hands to cover from being wet and ran to a tree for shelter.

I groan at the continually pouring rain. I waited for a whole hour to see if it would stop and it doesn't.It keeps getting heavier and heavier.

I mumbled about how my mother will kill me if I were t be late after my curfew. I know the tough Kaoru..... Has a curfew?

Yeah, yeah laugh all you want, at least I do have one.

I roll my eyes and check my phone that was placed in my bag for the time and nearly slipped from shock.

7:15 PM?!

What the actual heck is this stupid logic?!

" Ah screw this, I'm going home.... "

I mumble before putting my phone in my bag and zipping it
afterwards. I steady myself to get ready to run out but just before I could even inhale a breath, I hear a low and dark voice.

"Wanna go so soon..?
We haven't even started yet... "

I jerk my head to face a figure. He was defiantly a he because of the low voice, but I couldn't make out his face. He wore a black jacket that was halfway wiped and a drak green t shirt inside.

He had raven hair like me that were covering his eyes. He also wore dark denim jeans with black converse.

I raise an eyebrow and crossed my arms.

"Oh yeah? And why is that, you clearly don't know who your messing with "

I scoffed at him.

He just remained in the position before letting it a seriously creepy smirk.

( imagine Jeff the killer's smirk-ish smile )

I rolled my eyes even though I was a little bit creeped out by the smirk that was on his face and quickly transformed in a flash.

A bright light covered by body and a second later, I was dressed in powerpuff outfit, with two daggers in my hands.

"Who exactly are...... You.? '

I sneered at the figure before positioning myself into a ready stance in case if he pounced, which is high doubtful.

He grinned before lifting his head and locking eyes with me.

Dark green...

And they were glowing?!

"Just what the heck is going on here..... "

I mumble before another light emitted but this time in his direction.

But they're was once difference.

It was a dark light.

The light quickly dismissed before revealing the figure who was slow dressed in an outfit I recognize from one of the security camera videos on the person who attacked Momoko.

I sneered at him before gripping my daggers tighter.

"It's one of them.... "
