Chapter 33: Explanation

The girls and the boys hardly made any contact in school unfortunately to Moriku's demise. Soon enough it was the week of their training and the girls were dreading it. They were doing anything possible so that time would go slower. But you know what they say, time waits for no one nor does it stop for anyone.

"Why did today have to come... "

Miyako groaned as she and her friends were slowly walking back from school. Emphasis slowly.They were clearly not thrilled about working, much less training with the boys.Kaoru grunted while Momoko sighed and looked down to her shoes. Usagi as usual just keep quiet but had an expression that surely told that she didn't want to have nothing to do with the boys either.

Soon enough, they eventually reached the house of Mojo and the boys. They groans got even louder as they saw the house upfront.

"Alright! Who was the one who walked faster then the rest of us and made us come here more early? "

Kaoru asked with a slouch while the rest of the girls sighed and shook their heads. After a few minutes of convincing Kaoru to get in which eventually turned into Momoko just dragging her , the finally went inside of the house. They were greeted by the normal luxurious furniture and even smell if it was by Miyako's perspective.They slouched towards the living room with their bags to find Moriku setting up a projector.

Moriku then turned around and greeted the girls with a wide smile.

"Ah girls, I'm glad that you've arrived. The boys should be here anytime soon and then we'll began the brief explantion on your powers "

The girls mentally flinched at the mention of the boys as they took their seats. So enough later the boys did arrive which made the girls mood worsen even more. The boys on the other hand didn't rely care and just wanted everything to be over with so they could get back to their own things. Moriku positioned the projector on the exact level she wanted before smiling out of satisfaction and turning towards the girls and boys.

"Alright so this is in today will be the official first day of your training here. It will be a short 5 day trying in the mind, body, and spirit. "

Just like with Hikari... Training...

The girls thought. Moriku noticed how Butch was already asleep and flinched at the sight of it. She did not like it when people don't respect her during her speeches. Soon after Butch received a loud awakening from his slumber, Moriku then continued.

"As I was saying, it will the set you body, mind, and spirit. So you will be trying on your physical body, your level of controlling of your powers and also your emotions. With your assigned partner of course "

The girls all groaned at the mention of partners and Moriku sent them a sharp glare. She then continued.

"But today we will be more on the mind side of things. I will be telling and explaining the basics of the chemical called 'Element Z' which are streaming through your veins as we speak, and the specific powers for your specific color,weakness, strengths, and so on. "

Moriku then moved to the projector and turned it on. The project our then displayed a picture of a large black stone.
Moriku then turned her attention towards the boys and girls.

"This was the earliest recording of Element Z and was said to be about in the early 600's. It was a mysterious rock found on an island near the Pacific ocean. The natives of the island were the first to ever seen it and had worshiped it because of the immense amount of energy it was producing. Or what children like to call it, magic. "

Moriku then used a remote that was in her hand to flip to the next picture. It was a picture of scientists observing the black rock and experimenting on It.

"Now back in the early 1980's scientist started experimenting on Element Z or chemical Z as the would like to call it. They found many things such as the weird energy signals it gives when is placed under a radar and such. "

Momoko nodded with fascination along with Miyako. They didn't want to do anything with the boys but this wasn't half bad. On the other hand, both Usagi and Kaoru felt there brains being melted by Moriku's speech.
Moriku then clicked to the next picture now showing a picture of Mojo, Moriku herself and younger looking man. Moriku looked around her early 20s, Mojo in his late 20s and the young boy about 18-19 years old.

"This was the time I meet Mojo and John. It was about when I was studying chemistry back in college that I got assigned to Mojo as a partner along with John. We were a good group of friends but soon had to part ways when we graduated college. Soon enough I heard of Mojo and John's discovery's on Element Z and it quite intrigued me."

"So I went out and talked to Mojo myself, but he himself over the past years have changed along with John. I don't know how or why but they definitely have changed in some way or another.Anyways that was when I heard about the accident involving you girls in John's laboratory and confronted him. He merely brushed it aside as if it was nothing "

Kaoru clenched her teeth. She was sick and tired of all of this crap happening to her. And she definitely did not like the the person who made her into a monster didn't care less or even feelt guilty about what he did. Moriku then continued with the next picture of the stone of Element Z but with different colours.

"Now just recently around 10 years ago, Scientists have found other Element Z rocks scattered around Earth but with different colours. They believe each colour represents a certain element. For example Momoko's Element Z rock is coloured with pink hence the colour of her uniform. But what she didn't know is that the pink stands for Ice. It was unclear and negotiated over time, but it was confirmed it was Ice. And since Brick is Momoko's counterpart, he has the element of Fire. Opposites, see? "

Momoko knowingly nodded since she's been noticing how her ice powers have been much more active lately and how warm the surrounding feels like we Brick is near. Moriku then continued.

"As for Miyako, her colour is blue along with Boomer. Now Blue comes in all sorts of variatosn such as dark blue, light blue, ect. But all equally the same. Blues have less control over their emotions than the rest of the Elements but if they can channel their emotions to control their power, they sued would become extremely powerful. Though lift blue or baby blue stands for water and dark blue stands for electricity . And Miyako you also at times have healing abilities though very minimum so please use it wisely. "

Miyako nods. Now she knows why she's been acting so moody whenever she uses her powers. Either that or her period is coming soon.

"And a for dark green which is Butch and emerald which is Kaoru's, dark green stand for rock or earth. And Emerald stays for soil Earth. Now both have elements of the Earth but different parts. "

Kaoru shrugged. She really didnt care much about her powers, she knew Momoko would just fill her in later.

"And last but not least, the purples. Which are actually very special. Usagi and Blitz you both are half's. Which is basically why you have more control of your powers than your friends do. Though your specific Elements are unknown since its rare enough to find people with Element Z running though their veins, it's even more rare r find half breeds. "

Usagi nodded. At least she was emotionally more stable than he finds even if she doesn't know her element. Moriku then shut down the projector before getting a clipboard and looking towards the girls.

"Okay, explanation done. Now it's time to get psychical. We're going to have you fight your partner this time "
