Jumin's POV
"A business trip?!" I shrieked at Assistant Kang's report. "You know I can't go on this trip! I'll miss Victoria's birthday!" My assistant nodded in agreement. "I tried to convince the Chairman to postpone the trip, but he refused. He said this is a serious manner." I heaved a sigh. "Y/N would throw a fit, but at the same time she understands what I go through," I mumbled.

Silence fell between me and my assistant. It was interrupted by the creaking of my office door. "Daddy!" Victoria's tiny footsteps ran towards me. "Princess?! How did you find me?" I asked putting the child on my lap. "Your wife told me to let her visit you!" My father stepped in with his bright smile. "Just Victoria?" I asked. "Vincent and Rudy stopped by Decim's place. Mommy was busy, so she sent me here!" Victoria said, her big grey eyes giving me contact. "Busy?" My mind was blank on what's going on. "Y/N probably wanted to surprise Victoria, since her birthday is in a couple of days," Jaehee said as she put her index finger on her chin. "That makes sense," I said running my fingers through my daughter's long hair.

"She's your twin." My father said looking at the child in my lap. "She is my only princess." I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I can't believe she's turning six." Jaehee rolled her eyes at my statement. "She has ways to go before she goes to college, get a job, and get married." My father nodded. "Just relax, Jumin, she's only a little girl."

My shift was over, and we had hours before nightfall. "Daddy, do you wanna get ice cream?" Victoria asked gripping my hand. "Sure. Let's get in the car." Instead of being driven around by an older man, I drove the spare car Luciel loaned me. Victoria was in the backseat, with her seatbelt buckled. I drove to the nearest ice cream parlor.

"What kind of ice cream do you want?" I asked my daughter, whose eyes were glued on the many flavored behind the glass. She pointed at the Oreo Cookies and Cream ice cream. "One ice cream cone for the little one," I told the employee, pointing at the flavor Victoria wanted. "Do you want anything?" The employee asked. Victoria poked my leg. "Daddy, get something." She whispered. "I'll get one scoop of vanilla." The employee nodded. She handed me both of the cones. "Thank you, Daddy." Victoria smiled, before taking a lick of ice cream.

"What happened to you?!" My wife giggled, noticing Victoria's ice cream covered mouth. "We got ice cream, Mommy!" The girl giggled. I took out my handkerchief and wiped my daughter's lips. "Such a messy eater." I chuckled at my little girl.

The moon rose and so did Victoria's drowsiness. Her brothers are fast asleep, but she was hanging on. "It's time to go to bed, sweetheart." I picked up Victoria and carried her bridal style. I tucked her in and kissed her forehead. "Good night, Princess."

"Not another business trip!" Y/N sighed in frustration. "Jaehee and I tried our hardest to make my father postpone." I can feel the heat radiating off of my wife's cheeks. "I'm so sorry. I don't want to miss Victoria's birthday." I pulled my wife in a deep embrace. "She's going to expect you to be there for her birthday party. She's a daddy's girl you know." My wife said, looking up at me. "I know. I'm going to surprise her. Trust me."
