After hearing Y/N's story about Alexandra, I ordered Luciel and Assistant Kang to do a background check on her.

Jaehee: Mr. Han, I found a video... I think it's the trial of Nicholas and Alexandra Holmes...

I opened the video that Assistant Kang sent me. The video lasted two hours. Once done, I dialed my father's number. "Yes, Jumin? I'm in the middle of a private intercourse with Alexandra." I rolled my eyes. "This is about your fiancé. Alexandra IS a woman of evil. Marrying her will cause damage to the company."

"What the hell does that mean?!"

"Did you watch, or hear about, the trial of her and Nicholas?"

"Why should I? Nicholas was a fool and doesn't know how to handle money."

"You're quoting that from Alexandra."

I became frustrated. I hung up the phone. "Dad?" Rudy's little head popped up over the arm of the chair. "What is it Rudy?" I asked looking at the oddly concerned boy. "You look depressed. Is there something you need to discuss?" I shook my head. "It's just business between me and mommy. When Victoria is born, we need you and Vincent to take good care of her." Rudy nodded. "Yes, sir, I understand." I noticed the bright moon that light up the night sky. "Why are you still awake?" I asked. "I heard your frustration. I became curious." He replied. "Thanks Rudy, but I'm fine. Just go to bed." He nodded again. "Yes, sir. Good night."

~Time Skip~
After dropping the kids at school, I went to work. (Like usual.) I passed by Mr. Holmes, Y/N's father, on the way to my office. "Good morning, Mr. H-, I mean Jumin!" He chirped in his usual jolly way. "How is Y/N?" I let out a sigh. "She's not in the best mood. We need to discuss something. It's about my father." I said in a whisper. "Sure, why exactly are we whispering?" He asked.

I motioned the man to follow me into my office, he did as directed. "Do you remember Alexandra Holmes?" I asked, lifting a brow. "Yes, she is my ex wife. She is Y/N's mother." He replied as he took the seat from across my desk. "My father is engaged to her. Their wedding is in a couple of months." Nicholas eyes widened. "That's terrible news! She could damage his reputation!" I nodded. "Y/N said the same. I ordered my chief assistant and a friend of mine to construct a background check on her. Turns out that the judge and the jury, who made the statement that all your earnings go to her, has slept with Alexandra." I could feel the rage boil inside of him. "That fucking slut. After forcing me into having sex with her, she tried her best to abort my only children: Vincent and Y/N."

"Y/N told me that he was murdered. She never told me how." My father-in-law scratched the skin where his beard used to live. "All I remember was that I woke up to a gunshot and found Vincent laying on the floor, bleeding."

"Did you take him to a hospital?"

"We did, but he didn't make it on the way to the E.R. He was a brilliant boy. He always defended Y/N."

"Was the man arrested for the death of Vincent Holmes?"

"No. The man went missing after the incident. We still haven't found him."

A beep from my phone interrupted our conversation. It was Y/N.
