Your Point of View
Since the arrest of my mother, I have been with Jumin's lawyer. But today, I wasn't alone. "In order for this case to be on trial years in advance, your kids should attend." Jumin and I gasped in unison. "What do my kids have to do with anything?" I asked, obviously confused. "Vincent is the main one who needs to attend." The lawyer stated, straightening his documents. "Why is that?" Jumin asked. "That's the child with the name of Y/N's deceased brother. He should be there to test Ms. Alexandra's emotions." The lawyer swiveled his chair, facing my father. "Make sure you bring the CD. That judge may lose his license in this too." He nodded to the man's suggestion. "The goal of this case is to make sure Alexandra pays Mr. Holmes all the funds he lost. Everything else is a side quest." Jumin, my father, and I nodded in unison.

"Grandpa?" The kids asked in unison as my father walked through the entrance. Believe it or not, this is the first time they've met their grandfather. "Hey, kids! I'm sorry I've been absent for such a long time. Papa has been working like a dog." My father said, holding his arms out. Vincent and Victoria both ran into his arms. Rudy trailed behind. "Kids, care to tell Grandpa your names?" The three nodded in unison. "Hi, I'm Victoria!" Victoria said, moving her long, dark hair from her grey eyes. I swear this child looks like a young, feminine Jumin. "Nice to meet you, Victoria." My father said, hugging the girl once more. "I'm Vincent and I play baseball!" Vincent introduced, smiling brightly. "Nice to meet you too, Vincent!" My father gave the boy a high-five. Rudy didn't say anything. He hid behind his older twin. "Go ahead, Rudy, introduce yourself." Vincent said, encouraging his brother. "H-Hi, I'm R-Rudy." The boy quietly said. Luckily, my father heard him. "Nice to meet you, Rudy." The man gave the boy a pat on the back.

"So about this trial," Jumin began as he sat down at his desk. My father and I took the chairs opposing him. "Do you have the bank documents that your ex-wife tarnished?" My father nodded and handed in a binder. The binder was thick and filled with many documents. "Woah." I gasped, measuring the thickness with my eyes. I never knew that my mother caused this much damage. I guess that explains why we live in a small two-bedroom house instead of our old penthouse. "All we need to do is present these documents to the judge, along with your son's journal and we may be fine." Jumin stated, slightly unsure of himself. My father thanked Jumin and exited the office. "I'll escort him to the guest room." I offered as I scurried away. "Father!" I called out, watching my father head to the front door. "You're going the wrong way!" I told him. My father shook his head. His facial expression was gloomier than before. "I'm just going home, that's all." My cheeks began to heat up. It wasn't from being flustered, it was from anger. "Why give up when we made it this far! Do you want your life back or not?!" I yelled. My father's emotions remained untouched from what I said. "Y/N, I know you want to get revenge on your mother, but this is just too much." He sighed. My hands began to shake, and my palms started to sweat. "Too much?! How could this be too much?!" I marched closer to him. "My mother took away all your money and ruined our lives! This trial will give her the justice that you deserve and Vincent could rest in peace!" Tears began to form in the corners of my eyes. My legs felt weak and I couldn't hold myself up. Next thing I know, I fell to my knees sobbing. "I thought you were the type who would always do the right thing." I mumbled with my voice cracking. I heard the door open and then closed. I looked up to see Nicolas Holmes, my own father, gave up on justice.
