I get up on my feet and run to the window, Mikey following.

"Gerard...there's no one out ther-" Mikey says matter-of-factly, I cut him off.

"No Mikey, listen to me, he was right there! And he had a camera! He's probably just hiding somewhere, I know it! They're sneaky like that Mikey, that's how they get you!" At this point I'm frantically searching the foggy streets for baldy.

"Gerard ... I think you should wash up and have breakfast, maybe it was just a dream or something" Mikey whispers, as if he's scared of me. I can't stand it.

"You don't believe me? Walk with me to school for once and I'll show you!" I almost yell, slamming the bathroom door behind me as I stomp in.

Washing my face and brushing my teeth proves to require a lot of assistance from my bruised shoulder, as I realised I had no time to take a shower. I decide to wear a slightly longer sleeved shirt so I won't have to explain my bruised shoulder knowing my mom's reaction would probably be similar to my brothers.

I grab an apple for breakfast and head out, I could hear my mom talking, no, arguing, on the phone with someone about dandelions or whatever. I thought about going and just waving a goodbye, then I saw that school had started a few minutes ago and thought against it.

Mikey was just turning the corner when I stepped off the sidewalk in front of our house. I was hurt that he didn't even believe me enough to wait up so I could show him what I meant or at least carry on explaining that it wasn't a dream and that I was actually being stalked by bald men in jumpsuits.

Once again the streets were empty and I picked up my pace hoping to be accompanied by my brothers presense once I turned the corner. I heard a rustling sound and increased my pace till I was practically out of breath when I reached the end of the street. Expecting to see my brothers back I was shocked when I was just faced with another empty street. He's not that fast.

Somewhere deep inside of me I just knew something weird was going on. And baldy had something to do with it.

Eventually the rhythm of my footsteps slowed until I was just standing in the middle of the road. Really, really, scared.

"Mikey!" I yelled, my voice bouncing off the walls creating an eerie echo.

"He's going to be a lot more tougher to get, isn't he?"

I spin around at the sudden voice. I frantically look around, paying special attention to the crooks and crevices in the buildings around me. No one's here...The voice sounded like it came from behind me, so I faced the other way waiting for another sound.

"Yeah, he's definitely got a tougher build, and he looks heavier, too" a voice replied.

It came from behind me again. I spun around again searching my surroundings for where the voices could've come from, all while my heart was beating out of my chest.

"He probably wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight though, remember?"

"Oh yeah, his shoulder is pretty bruised isn't it"

"Boss isn't going to like that"

"I know, I know, but I really thought I had that shot nailed!"

"Your aim was a little low"

"To be fair, the boy sure can run, and his backpack was in the way"

"Oh excuses, excuses"

Who the hell? How do they know about the...

The minute the thought finally filtered through my mind, a pang at my neck sent a shiver around my body. Everything went black and I suddenly felt so relieved to be enclosed by numb darkness.
