Aroused. Ahahaahah.

I knew laughing was going to make him even more embarrassed than I could tell he was, but I couldn't help it.

He was blushing profusely and it was funny in an adorable way. Speaking of ways, that was his name. Gerard Way. He must've heard millions of jokes that went along the lines of: "No way!" "Yeah, Gerard Way, haha".

Heh.

I looked at him to see his blushing had died down, but his face was paler than before and I remembered that he had just passed out.

I got up and went to the sandwich and glass of water and brought them back to him. Not wanting him to become 'aroused' once again, I put the plate in front of him and sat a respectable distance away.

He ate the sandwich and chugged down the water. He started to look like he felt a little better.

I realised I was just sitting there watching him. To be honest I was very excited at the presence of another person. It has only been maybe a day and a bit but I still missed the warmth and safety of being around society. Even if my 'society' was a hormonal teenage vampire-boy.

His bed was emerging from the wall and I pointed to it. Silently telling him that he should rest.

I don't know why I didn't just tell him. I knew we could both speak English because we both understood our screens.

He turned and looked at the bed. He gave me sort of appreciative nod, and got up.

While Gerard slept I played with a screen that also came out of the wall. It was smaller and touch screen, easy to use as well. There was all kinds of information on there, like all the school text books put into one. I was fascinated by the evolution of soccer balls manufacture for a few minutes before I started looking for any information that would tell me where I- we were.

I didn't know him that well but he seemed innocent and just as much of a prisoner as I was. So I decided I'd be friendly. For now.

The most I could figure out was that this place was called CUBES INC.

That was it.

There was no info about founding or anything that a narcissistic manager or boss would include.

But eventually I found a loophole.

I looked up buildings, corporations and institutions until I found CUBES INC. We were in a research center founded by Dr.Cillian Murphy in 1983. We were somewhere in upper-Greenland without any civilization within miles.

I was upset, but intrigued. I started reading about the history of CUBES INC.

Way back there were six doctors that built this place intending for it to be a biological basis where they would observe the behavior of humans depending on the situations they were in. Apparently there were many experiments where they discovered how playing certain music affected people's diet or how when you didn't let people wash themselves they eventually would lick themselves clean like cats.

With each following article I read I grew angrier and angrier.

They were using us as lab rats!?

I wondered about all the things they could be planning to do to us. They already starved us just getting us here.

I started clicking away trying to find out more about Dr. Murphy when the screen went black. I tapped at it impatiently waiting for the screen to light back up. But it didn't. In fact it retreated back into its cozy nook in the wall and was sealed from my view when the piece of wall slid over it.

I cursed under my breath and sat down on the floor with my back against the wall. Thinking.

I looked up at the screen that I now knew was monitoring us. Taking away even the privacy of our own feelings. My Emotion Estimate said Angered.

No shit.
