Redfang's Quest-Warriors

Aspen

   "Hi Scourge erm.. There Is this thing called a medicine cat that heals injured cats in your clan. Don't you think it would be a good idea to have one?" I ask. He narrowed his eyes. "Whatever, but it will NOT cut into regular hunting or patrol times!" He hissed. I nod, before running to talk with Aspen. "Do you know about herbs?" I ask him. "Uhh, yeah. Every one of them." He mewed. Great, go collect them! Kay, thank you!" I meow. "Why should I listen to you?" He snarled. I pin him down, claws on his throat. He nodded quickly before squirming away. To get power over this clan, I need to be made clan leader. No, I'll take down bone! I smirk. "Bone, quick, into the woods!" I yowl. 

  He ran after me. As soon as he arrived I pad over to him, splitting his collar off with a single claw. I leap, holding onto his fur with all my might. With a powerful shake, I was thrown off him. I rise, running at him again. I get him on the ground staring into his green eyes. "Traitor!" He screamed. I sink teeth into his throat for many moments. He threw me off and pinned me. He was biting into my ear, and with a huge heave it was torn. I yowl out in pain, swiping a paw up with all my might to claw his eyes, blinding him. He released me for a split second, so I took the opportunity to get free. I pinned him, raking his belly and throat with my claws. I eventually dig my fangs back into his throat. He was still fighting with all of StarClan, and I could no longer take it. I give him one last strike to the face, and released. I sit, panting, regaining my strength. My deputy bled out in front of me. I got back on him, raking claws down his thin ribs. I bite into his big side, before ending him, snapping his neck at last. 

   I stare at my dead deputy, half sad, half proud.  I thought to my self, if i killed bone this easy, then I could kill scourge almost as easy! No, I could never bring myself to do it. I rise to my paws, licking Bone on the shoulder before picking him up by the scruff. I drag Bone all the way back to camp, before dropping his big body at Scourge's paws. "Badgers! three of them!" I yowl, panting. "Alright. Your my new deputy, Redfang. Serve me well" he meowed. I nod. "Aspen!" I call out. "I'm your new deputy, and I was badly injured. You'd better know those herbs!" I spat. He stared at me. "Redfang, your ear is gone!" He gasped. I pause "Gone?" I meow, astonished. He nodded. "Come, quickly" He led me to his new den, where all his herbs were. He began by pressing cobweb on my wounds to stop bleeding. He then made a pultice of goldenrod for healing and honey for soothing and applied it to each of my wounds. He ended by giving me some poppy seeds to help me sleep and some juniper berries for strength, and wrapped where my ear should be in cobweb. I thank him before padding off to my den to sleep.

   I woke later to Dodge, "Redfang, are you okay?!" He yowled. I look up at him before nodding.
