(Lillian's POV)

Dani and I got ready for our double date with the boys, while managing to get a hold of my uncle.

"Hey, sweetheart. How are things going?" my uncle asked over the phone. I call him dad though.

"I just wanted to talk to you, since we haven't seen or heard from each other in over a year." I chuckled.

"It's felt like years. But it's nice to hear your voice." he retorted.

"Well, I do have unexpected news." I said, nervously.

"Oh god. You're not pregnant, are you?" he questioned.

"No. I'm not pregnant." I laughed, "I moved."

"Oh thank goodness." he sighed in relief, "Where did you move to?"

"Uhhhh, how do I explain this?" I spoke to myself," I got a job out of the country. I had to move to London." I spouted out.

I didn't hear anything after that.

"Hello, you still there?" I questioned.

"Huh. Yeah, Kati was just freaking out. She over heard you." he replied.

Kati, my cousin. Or as I know her, a sister. She's three years younger than I. But acts much more mature.

"How is my lovely Kati?" I chided.

"She's great. She misses you, a lot. Would you like to talk to her?" he responded.

"Yeah, sure." I heard a tussle over the phone.

  "Hi Lilliana!" Kati squealed.

"Hi sweetie. How are you?" I replied.

"I'm good. Just obsessing over my favorite boy band." she responded.

"And who would that be?" I returned.

"One Direction!" she shouted. I pulled the phone away from my ear, and put it on speaker so Dani could hear.

"Oh. Who's your favorite?" Dani asked.

"I wouldn't call him my favorite, more like my soft spot. But I would have to say Harry." she said.

Dani and I gave each other the creepiest smiles. Kati will be ecstatic.

"What would you say, if I told you, you could meet him?" I spoke.

  "What?" she quivered.

"What would you say?" I asked again.

"I would die. Now what are you getting at?" she retorted.

"I know Harry Styles. And all of One Direction." I finally answered.

  "Really?" she was overwhelmed. Ha!

"Yep." I said, popping the 'p'.

"OH MY GOD!!!" she screamed away from the phone.

"Okay, okay. Calm down. Let me talk to dad." I said before she gave him back the phone.

"What was that all about?" 'dad' chuckled.

"I'll explain it when you all get here. Now, I can send you all tickets to fly to London. But you will have to fly coach." I explained.

"Really? That would be great. When will you send the tickets? I mean, we need to know so I can take of work, and so we can notify Kati's teachers." he told me.

"I will send them as soon as I can. Probably in a couple weeks." I replied.

The rest of our conversation was basically about everything that I've missed over the past year. I miss my family. Especially my parents.

"You know what tomorrow is, don't you?" 'dad' asked.

"Yes. Tomorrow is June twentieth. The anniversary." I replied. Tomorrow was the anniversary of my parents death. The thought of the bodies, bleeding to death, makes me ill. I can't get the image of their mangled bodies out of my head.

Teardrops role down my checks. I still tend to deny they are dead.

Screamed surround my ears. Blood tricking down my forearms. The surging pain, courses through my body. The sound of gun shots blurs my hearing.

I crawl along the edge of the room. I stumble to my feet. Blood everywhere. I Tiptoe beside the wall. Being careful, so no one can hear me.

I trip over a foot. Falling with with a thump. Landing on the cold, wooden floor. I look to my side to see  my mom, lying still, not breathing. Her face is pale.

"Mom." I whisper. I get no response.

I inch closer to her frail body. I stick my finger on her neck, to check for a pulse. There wasn't one.

My eyes blur with tears. My mom was dead and so was my dad. I slowly rise and run out of the room, dash through the kitchen, and out into the yard. Looking left and right for a car on the street, but none pass. I run along the sidewalks until I see a lit porch.

I run up to the door, and bang. As hard as I can until the door opens to reveal-

"Lilliana? You alright hunn?" 'dad' interrupted my horrible thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I really have to go.I'll talk to you later, okay?" I replied.

"Okay. We love you." he said.

"I love you, too." I retorted.

I hung up and ran to my room. Cryed into my pillow, and screamed. Dani knocked on the door, just as she came in.

"Lilliana. It's alright." she said, hugging me tightly.

"I don't want to do anything tomorrow, okay?" I said through sniffled sobs.

"Okay. But tonight, we have a date to attend. Now get your skinny butt up. We have to get ready." Dani replied, pulling me out of my bed.

I did what I normally would do when I'm depressed: refuse to get up, and have Dani eventually drag me into the bathroom and do my hair, vigorously.

I eventually did my makeup and got dressed. I wore a Dark purple holter top dress with a lighter purple colored pair of shoes.

The door bell rang, and I was ready. Dani dashed to the door just as I walked out of my bedroom. Niall and Zayn walked in, gorgeous as ever, looking dashing in their suits. I didn't know it was such a formal event.

  "Lilliana, You look-"
