Josh
"What the hell do you want Jordan! Go to your side of the house asshole!"

"You really need to get yourself and your friends in check! Did you know they beated someone up and got put in the hospital? They could sue, Josh! Stop being a fucking asshole!" I roll my eyes and look at him expectantly.

"The little fag they beat up probably deserved it."

"Don't say the word Josh! Just because you are having sexuality issues doesn't give you the right to say that about someone!" He says, fucking flailing his arms everywhere.

"I'm no faggot Jordan, don't ever accuse me of something so low!" We were practically screaming and spitting in each other's faces.

"Shut the heck up you two!" We both turn at the same time and see Ashley in my door way.

"Please? Abi and I are trying to play. Please be quiet Joshie?" I sigh in defeat, but nod. "Sorry bub, go finish playing." She smiles sweetly then exits my room. I turn back to Jordan and glare.

"You get the fuck out, faggot." He scoffs, but leaves anyways.

Tyler
I'm too scared to go back. I didn't know kids could be this mean. My mom is still pissed by the hospital bill and god forbid how she'll be if she gets another one, from me. I was so excited to go to school, but now, I'm terrified of it. I can see how people have such hatred for the place, except for me, it's not the work, that's surprisingly easy, it's the uh. What's the word, bullying. Yeah. That's it's. I don't understand why. If I knew why, maybe I could change so they wouldn't. I have a feeling it might be because I don't talk, but they called me a word. A faggot, I don't even know what that is! I just know it's bad because of the way they were using it.

I look out my new window and see lightning hitting the ground all around. Suddenly, sirens started going off. Crap, what does it mean again? A, a tornado! I spring up and go to shake Zack, he groggily opens his eyes. I pull my ears, he looks strangely at me first, but then gets the hint and goes screaming.

"The tornado sirens are going off! Everyone get up!" He goes in the house waking everyone up. I go into Madi's and Jay's room, picking them both up and holding them in my arms. Jay is still fast asleep while Madison looks like she wants to kill me for waking her up.

"Kids! Come in here! This is the safest place in the house!" I follow my mother's voice and spot her in the hallway closet, with Zack smooshed in the back. I hand her the little ones then get it myself.

Now we wait.

Josh
"Josh?"

"Here."

"Jordan?"

"Here."

"Abigal and Ashley?"

"We're here mommy."

"Okay, just stay quiet so we can listen. Everything will be okay, loves. Momma's got you." She holds us all close as the sirens go off. We honestly really shouldn't even be worried considering we have a basement, but whatever. Normally I would push everyone off of me, but I fucking hate storms, so fuck that shit, let me feel safe.

It almost sounds like there is a train outside our house. Suddenly, my head snaps up as I start to hear glass shatter and big thumps above us. Shit.

"Everyone stay calm, we are safe down here." Abigail starts to have a panic attack, poor thing. I hold her tighter in my arms and whisper positive things into her tiny ear.

"Breathe baby girl, just breathe. I won't let anything happen to you." The moment her breathing becomes even, our door that leads to the house slams open. Out the corner of my eye, I can see the terrified look on mom's face. "Everyone, scoot back!" Abi jumped out of my arms and went to mom.

I didn't scoot back though.
