EPILOGUE

"ARE YOU READY to go baby?" Tanong ni Addy sa asawa. Today is the day his first official and full length film launches. Mukha ngang mas excited pa siya kaysa dito kasi he is more of nervous about how the people will like the film. For her it's a masterpiece kaya naman super confident niya. The people will love it for sure.

"Yes baby, ready na." Lumabas na ito sa kwarto looking all disheveled pero sobrang gwapo pa din. Who said that 34 can't look this good?

Nilapitan niya ang asawa at tinulungan itong ayusin ang necktie na baliko pa sa pagkakalagay. She even combed his hair kasi mukhang pati yun ay nakalimutan nito.

"Hay nako ang asawa ko talaga. Wag kang masyadong kabahan, okay? I saw the film maybe 10 times and I cried, laughed, and learned all those times. The people will love it and if they don't, na hindi mangyayari, ako mismo ang magtuturo sa kanila how to appreciate art. You made a great film like I know you would." Pinantay niya ang necktie nito bago hinaplos ang mukha.

"You always calm me down," he smiled before kissing her. "There's no storm in me you cannot calm. Iba ka talaga baby kahit kailan."

Napangiti naman siya sa sinabi nito. It has been a year and a half since they got married in Halong Bay. It was, by far, the greatest long weekend she's ever had. Makatapos ng kasal at honeymoon nila ay lumipad sila papuntang Los Angeles kasi may nakuhang 6 months scholarship si Jake from a known film academy there. Nakita kasi nila yung short film na ginawa nito and they were impressed.

Si Addy naman ay laging work at home para sa businesses niya. She's established a new financial consulting firm with her friend Lorie and thankfully it is doing great, mas hands on si Lorie pero siya naman sa inner workings ng company. Ngayon, they are both work at home kasi bagong panganak ang kaibigan niya. Masaya ang mga nakukuha nilang opportunities kaya naman they just go out and chase their dreams.

Noong makabalik sila sa Pilipinas ay may dumating na opportunity kay Jake to produce one of his scripts into a film. Hindi pa yung pang nationwide theater consumption pero it's still a great chance to showcase what he's learned. Addy loves watching Jake work his magic. He's a talented guy and this film will prove that he's more than just a pretty face na pang-acting lang. He can create a film with a heart, and the storytelling is just phenomenal.

Madaming tao sa labas ng Film Theatre. She immediately felt happy kasi at least dito pa lang ay mukhang madami ang nag-aabang sa pelikula ni Jake. Mainit silang tinanggap ng mga nagtitilian na mga fans ni Jake. All of them came to see him and support his film.

"Nasa loob na din daw sina Papa and Mama tapos nagtext na din sa akin si Sam na andyan na sila ni Mommy." She informed her husband. "Ngayon pa lang proud na proud na ako sayo love."

"Thank you baby, medyo kinakabahan pa din ako dahil ang daming tao. I hope they like the film I made." He was waving and smiling at people while telling her this. Talent na talaga nito na magtago ng nararamdaman sa fans, not to her though.

"Relax, they will love it. Promise." And they were in the theatre sitting in the best spot alongside the actors and the producers. Punung-puno ang sinehan ng mga taong gustong mapanood ang pelikula.

The film lasted about 90 minutes and just like before hindi niya napigilan na maiyak sa madamdaming kwento about finding yourself, loving who you become, and enjoying the adventure that life throws at you. May love story, may family, may friends. In general it is a story about life, kaya naman tagos sa puso. It was a mix of what they both experienced and all the challenges they faced. It was like a scrapbook of emotions, memories, and feeling. He made it seem like everyone in all walks of life can relate to it.

As the movie ended there was a quiet pause na mabilis na napalitan ng masigabong palakpakan, everyone was on their feet clapping for the movie.

"You did it baby, they love it." She whispered.
