Everything was a blur. The capture. The chains. The escape. The lost blue eyes. And the fallen vampire.
Magnus only remembered bits and pieces. Raphael dicussing his heritage. Luke yelling for Jocelyn until he could yell no more. Alec helping him when he could barely walk.
It all haunted him.
During the day and night. His dreams were filled with the wails of demons that only Magnus would've been able to hear while on Edom. His father's curse , that's what he called it.
The sickness he felt while on that cursed planet went through him daily. Sometimes he even felt the manacles on his arms. It was worse on some days more than others.

Magnus bolted up. The bed he was in shook as he jumped from it and ran to his bathroom.
Sickness went through him. It was familiar, but still wasn't welcomed.
He stood over the sink, he felt light-headed and disoriented. He put his hands against the sink, trying desperately to steady himself. He gave up quickly and slid to the floor.
He was shivering, but felt himself burning. He wrapped his arms around himself and leaned his head against the wall. He tried to steady his breathing, he was failing at that too.
He heard footsteps coming towards the bathroom. Even disorientated he knew who it was.
"Magnus?" he whispered as he pressed the door open. Alec was shirtless and his hair was a mess. It almost made Magnus smile.
"Good morning darling," Magnus whispered. Alec sat next to him. He knew about Magnus suddenly feeling sick or waking up with nightmares. Everything that happened to Magnus was psychological, barely anything could help. He wouldn't let Catarina mess with his mind, and the Silent Brother's services didn't reach to downworlders.
Alec put his head on Magnus' shoulder. Magnus closed his eyes and then leaned onto Alec.
"Your freezing," was all Magnus said. He felt Alec laugh under him.
"And your burning up."
"Because I'm so hot."
"Your delirious, Magnus. You should go back to bed." Alec then stood up and put his hand out to Magnus. He grabbed his boyfriends hand hesitantly. He was pulled up quickly, maybe too quickly.
He was rushed again with tunnel vision and light-headedness. He shut his eyes and let Alec hold him up. Once the tunnel vision cleared he stood on his own.
He felt better, but still wanted to lie down.
He fell onto his bed, it felt softer than ever. He heard Alec laugh. Oh how much he loved that sound.
"Your still burning up. I'll go get you water." Alec mumbled as he walked off.
When he returned he tossed a bottle of freezing water at Magnus. "Thank you Alexander."
"Your welcome. Feeling better?"
Magnus nodded. "I'm sorry that I couldn't," Alec began, but was quickly cut off by Magnus.
"You know it's nothing anyone can help with. It's my mind remembering Edom. It's nothing important any way." Alec climbed onto the bed, setting himself right beside Magnus.
"It is important. But I'm sure it will get better. And if it doesn't. . . It'll get easier to deal with."
Magnus smiled. "This is why I love you Alexander," his words slightly slurred. Alec suspected it was because he was sleep deprived. It didn't help that Magnus stayed up late. surely trying to postpone sickness that was bound to come.
"I have so much respect for mothers," Magnus mumbled with his head in the pillow. His tan bare back facing the roof.
"The hell Mags," Alec whispered while laughing,"What made that thought?"
Magnus moved so his half of his face faced Alec. His golden green eyes danced in the dim light. He didn't look sick, but Alec knew he felt it.
"Morning sickness. When pregnant women wake up they feel sick. Usually from throwing up to just minor headaches. I may not be pregnant but that's how I feel every time I wake up." Magnus turned his head into the pillow.
Alec sighed, trying to hide a smirk that was creeping on his face. "You are delirious darling. Go to sleep." Magnus was usually very wise. These moment were definitely not his best.
"What if I wasn't tired? What if I had enough energy to climb the highest mountains?" Magnus teased. Alec was used to him staying up later. But he was also use to Magnus trying to postpone sleep for very different reasons.
"If you don't go to sleep and keep me up longer, Magnus Bane so help me," Alec played, only letting a hint of false anger touch his tone.
"Darling? Do you adore sleep more than me?" He moved a hand to his chest and made a false accused look. Alec smiled and then moved quickly to kiss Magnus' shoulder.
Magnus moved quicker. He was able to catch Alec's lips with his. Magnus smiled against Alec's lips as he kissed back. Magnus pulled away slightly out of breath a few moments later.
"Alexander, let me sleep! Have you no courtesy for the sick? Shame on you," Magnus exaggerated.
Alec kissed him again, this time slower showing more passion and love than the first. "Your feeling better," Alec smirked," Goodnight Mags." Alec reached for Magnus' hand that was under his pillow.

I have very dark humor. But I don't know where this went. . . It was supposed to be dark but then I was glad it became a more joking like story.
Next story is really long. Roughly 1,450 words. (Actually that isn't that long, I have written more before, but whatever). Also there's a few notes about meeeeeeeee in the next story.
