Isabelle jumped trying to avoid a simple Raum demon. She flicked her wrist so that it was cut in half by her snake-like whip that glew in the moon's light.

Alec was behind her, firing arrows at the overwhelming amount of demons. Jace, Izzy, and Alec had been sent to dispatch a small group of demons, but when they arrived dozens and dozens more appeared.

Some were Raum demons, some Shape-shifting and some were just horrifying to look at.

Jace was out guns blazing. His blade held high as it glew. He was dispatching multiple demons at a time, but it still wasn't enough. Alec thought there were a hundred at the least.

"Alec call backup, Jace and I have it," Isabelle shouted at him from a few yards away.

Alec refused. He didn't want to leave his parabatai or little sister. There was too much danger. If anything happened he would never forgive himself.

He shot multiple arrows during his thoughts without realizing.

Isabelle yelled the same thing again. Alec looked to Jace to see if he heard. Jace looked back and nodded. Either he did hear or sensed that he had to leave. Either way he had to go.

He threw his bow over his shoulder and ran to cover.

They were in Spring Creek Park. It was a beautiful and open place during the day, but at night it looked wicked. There were few trees where they were, so Alec had to go a little farther than he liked.

Once he was behind a tree and made sure that there were no demons, he pulled out his phone and dialed Magnus' number. He told him quickly of where they were and that they were up against, he sounded excited about having a chance to fight again. Alec smiled at the fact they would fight side by side.

Once they hung up he called Luke. He had to keep his number in his phone for times like this. Alec and Luke weren't the closest, but Alec majorly respected him.

Luke answered quickly and Alec told him what was happening. He understood and said he would hurry.

Alec didn't call anyone else. Magnus and Luke were the strongest Downworlders in Brooklyn it would be enough.

As Alec was running back he saw Magnus portal in.

He was wearing what he always did while fighting. Fully black clothing with a long coat.

Alec waved Magnus over and he pulled his bow off of his shoulder.

His quiver with arrows was almost empty. Magnus snapped and it was full again.

Alec thanked him by bowing his head. Magnus gave him a magnificent smile and then went to help Jace.

Blue fire varying in darkness waved through the field. It was beautiful despite the deadlines of it.

He fired more arrows, he then noticed an actual decrease is demons. He would've been glad if he hadn't heard his sister yell out in what could only be pain.

He turned to look at her, but nothing visible was wrong. Minor cuts that he could see, but nothing else.

The only odd thing was a mist. The just was pitch black and it hovered in front of her. Alec saw it take form momentarily but it turned back to mist.

Agramon. Alec thought with a shock. Isabelle wasn't hurting, she was scared.

They defeated him earlier in the year. He was dead. Or at least his essence was scattered.

Alec knew he was stupid for rushing to his sister, but he couldn't just leave her. His sister was suffering, she could die if he left her.

He slid to the ground in front of his sister, trying to block her view. He grabbed her shoulders and pulled her into him. He tucked her head into his chest so she definitely couldn't see. She was sobbing and shaking violently.
