Clary leaned in to whisper something to her brother. But Alec couldn't pay attention. He was too busy worrying about Magnus.

His skin was shockingly pale from days of being in this hell hole. His clothing was covered in dirt and dust just like Luke's. His hair hung in his eyes, knotted, and matted with what Alec sucpected was blood. And he had a cut running down the side of his face, Alec could still see the barely dried blood that was around it.

This was the last moments of freedom they would have. And Alec was going to spend them worrying about his ex-boyfriend.

He was almost too distracted on Magnus to even notice Clary plunge her blade towards Sebastian. He was definitely too distracted to see Sebastian spin out of the way.

The white haired boy grabbed Clary's wrist and took the blade out of her hand. Jace tried to get up, but was pushed down by an invisible force.

Clary's knees threatened to buckle as Sebastian twisted her wrist in an unhealthy way.

"Did you think I wouldn't suspect a betrayal sister?" He grinned a wicked grin that demons would be scared of. "You betrayed all of these demon spawn, diseased, and weak Nephilim." He spat every word like a sin.

"I didn't. You were the one that betrayed your own people. You killed all those innocent people," Clary said every word with closed teeth. Alec couldn't help but watch, and plan.

Sebastian had the decency to laugh. He then casted glances at all of the people kneeling in front of them. His eyes fell on Jace. And they continued on as he spoke.

"Why not join me, sister? What do you have to return to? A boyfriend that believes he's the best Shadowhunter, who's life is filled with lies, and has only been ever taught to lie to his closet friends and lovers?"

Clary's knees finally buckled.

"Or the Daylighter that was disowned and tortured by your precious Government, just because of the lies that you fed them."

"That isn't true," Clary punctuated her words.

Meanwhile, Simon stood quickly, using his vampire agility and grace, but was quickly kicked. He fell quickly too. Sebastian sneered.

"Or your 'Father', as you call him. That denied being that figure in your life. The one who lied to you repetitively."

Luke looked ashamed. He looked at Jocelyn who was in between Alec and Magnus. Her face was grave. Sebastian's eyes dropped on Alec.

"Or this Shadowhunter that you haven't known for a year. The one that had never killed a demon before the last few months. The one that is disgraced in the Clave's eyes. He's no more of a Shadowhunter than me."

Alec of course was offended. But he was out raged when he looked at Magnus. Everything was the same besides his eyes. They were furious, filled with Hell's Fire.

He stared at Sebastian for the majority of his speech, but then turned to Alec. Alec had to give him a just as gruesome stare. He quickly glanced at his hands and then back forward to Sebastian.

Alec then noticed that his wrist were covered in cuts. He assumed the chains that kept his hands tied caused them.

"Even our Mother. The one that took you from our Father, the person that would've revolutionized the whole world. He would've gotten rid of these Downworlder scum if he had us as a team."

"That's a lie! My mother was saving me. She would've saved you too if you weren't already dead inside," Clary shouted. She glanced at everyone and nodded.
