Training

Magnus watched as Alec trained with Jace.

Alec was supposed to be done training over half an hour ago. But of course, Jace wanted more matches. Stubborn and annoying that one is.

He was extremely bored, even if watching his Shadowhunter train was usually the best thing. Watching as Alec shifted and moved, showing off his muscles perfectly, with sweat highlighting those areas.

But with his lovers parabatai in the picture. . . He didn't quite enjoy that.

He was atleast thankful that Max and Rafe had Izzy and Clary to keep them entertained, otherwise he would've probably went insane while trying to keep the two kids to be quiet and sit for more than thirty minutes.

He sighed and leaned back in the chair he was in.

He started to close his eyes before he heard a clash that was louder than the previous.

He looked up just intime to see Jace loose his balance and fall. Magnus silently congratulated Alec for successfully beating Jace. . . Again.

Magnus did a slow clap just to mock Jace.

He heard a laugh that was unmistakably Alec's. And then a sneer that definitly came from Jace.

Magnus smirked at that. He loved to annoy Jace above all else.

"Got to confident in your extra Angel blood? Forgot that you need to train?" Alec said with confidence that Magnus only saw when he trained. And rarely ever when he trained with Jace.

Jace grimaced. "Okay Mr. Cocky, how about we go again. Winner takes all," he said with usual Jace arrogance.

Alec nodded before Magnus interrupted.

"No, you two have gone thirty minutes over my time, and I'm supremely bored so if you two continue please be willing to also entertain the kids while I go back and get my work done with Clients are that are undoubtedly going to waste my time even more than this," Magnus said while gesturing to the two before him.

Alec sighed before laughing lightly again.

"Sorry Mags, I didn't realize," Alec said before grabbing a shirt. Jace only snorted, causing Magnus to look at him.

"Alec seems to be beating my ass, let's see of you have anything to offer?" Jace asked towards Magnus.

It wasn't an odd request. Alec and Jace often asked Magnus to help with training. Not physical help, but help with Magic.

Magnus always denied, not really caring enough. But only once or twice he was asked to train physically. Alec always asked, he was always curious to see Magnus' skill.

Because everyone knew he was great with Magic, but no one knew about hand-to-hand combat. And Magnus wasn't really one to deny a chance to outshine someone.

It's what he did best.

That was also the reason he always denied. Alec. Because impressing Alec might be fun, but impressing and possibly embarrassing his brother. . . That could be magnificent.

Magnus nodded. "If I win I get to take Alec and leave. You win you can get to train longer, but I'm also leaving the kids here if you win. Adds extra expense," Magnus said with his usual flamboyance tone.

Alec smiled at his boyfriend. Not just because of how he just positively radiating mischief energy, but because Alec knew he could easily beat Jace.

Jace smirked. "Deal, let's just get this over with," Jace said with his usual arrogance. Alec felt his confidence and forced himself to not roll his eyes.
