EDITED
I sleep most of the day the next day.
That is until Damon calls me.
"What. I'm busy sleeping and you left before I woke up," I groaning annoyance.
"It's four in the afternoon Debria. Also I left because we lured Klaus back to Mystic Falls. We are going to kill him tonight. Mikael has a white oak stake that will do the job. Elena daggered Rebekah so there's no loose ends. We are good to go," Damon explains to me.
"Mmm your voice sounds soothing," I say without thinking because I'm so groggy still.
Damon chuckles on the other end of the line,
"Just get out of bed and wear something pretty. You're my date tonight to the homecoming."
"Oh perfect," I roll my eyes now and sit upright while yawning.
"See you soon," Damon says sweetly.
"Ya ya okay," I say quickly and hangup, yet my heart beat is racing.
I get up and go downstairs to grab a glass of juice and I see Tyler.
I stop in my tracks.
"Ty?" I ask gently.
Tyler turns towards me, his eyes wide in excitement. He rushes to towards me at hybrid speed and picks me up, spinning me in a circle while hugging me.
"Debria! Mom and I have been so worried! We know you've been home except we never see you. And then you were gone for two months with Klaus. What the hell! And then your humanity was off and now it's on again?" Tyler asks me loudly.
"Ty! Calm down. Klaus made me turn my humanity off. And he threatened Damon's life if I didn't. He just turned you into a hybrid. I had to do what I had to do," I explain to him, pushing a lock of hair behind my ear.
Tyler frowns his expression now slightly blank as he thinks hard,
"Wait. Klaus told me about this. You're not supposed to turn your humanity on until he tells you to."
My eyes widen at my immediate mistake in trusting my big brother who is sired to Klaus,
"Tyler. You can't tell him it's back on. Ty, you can't. He'll hurt you, or me, or Damon or Elena. You can't tell him please."
Tyler looks at me with this weird disappointment, almost as if I'm a child,
"I'm sorry Debria. But I'm supposed to tell Klaus everything about you and Stefan and anyone else regarding you two and Elena."
I groan and slam my fist on the countertop, making a corner of it on the opposite side crack off and fall to the floor with a clatter,
"Fucking hell! I hate him. I hate him so much how is it possible to hate someone this much?"
Tyler frowns at the piece of granite counter top on the floor before looking back up at me as if the answer is obvious,
"He took away my curse Debria. I don't ever have to change again. I owe him everything."
I grab the orange juice from the fridge and pour myself a glass and speak without looking up at my brother,
"Mason is dead. He's head got sliced off from some booby trap in a cave that he was leading Damon to, to help us gain more information about something. His grave is in the woods, walk east of our house for like thirty minutes and you'll find it. Or maybe you don't even care, because the boy standing in front of me, is not my big brother."
