Biting her lip Chloe blushed as she gazed at herself in the dressing rooms mirror. Turning around she looked at the back of the tight fitted black Givenchy sequined mermaid dress before going out to show her mom .. Now in her freshman year of High School she wanted to start with a bang !! Prom was still a few months away but she wanted to start looking early, to ensure that she got the perfect dress for her first year of High School..
Stepping from behind the dressing rooms curtain, Chloe gave a huge white smile as her mom.. Yasmine, turned her attention away from her grandma, Linda to focus on her daughter ..
Being the first one to speak, Linda stood up first as she gushed at her granddaughter..
"Chloeeee, it's absolutely beautiful baby !! This is the one Yasmine !!" She said, eyes bright with excitement as she turned to Yas ..
Nodding, in agreement Chloe turned her attention back to her mom as she just stared at her ..
She knew how hard her mom was to please, she was extremely strict for a reason Chloe didn't understand and that's exactly what made them clash heads ..
"Mama !!" Chloe yelled at her mama snapping her out of her trance
"What ?" Yasmine asked snapping out of her trance
"You like it ?"
With a smirk Yasmine slowly shook her head "You're not wearing that Chlo !!" She said as she stood up
Rolling her eyes Chloe threw her hands up in frustration "Mama why not ?!" She whined
"Because you're 16 Chloe !! Not 26 !! Now get out of it !!" Yasmine said pushing Chloe back towards the dressing room
"Yes, I'm 16 !! Basically 17 !! Which means 18 !! Almost grown .. Granny tell her !!" Chloe whined some more as she turned to her grandmother
Sighing, Linda placed her hand on her back and lightly pushed her towards the dressing room "Get dressed, I'll talk to her !!" Linda whispered in her ear ..
Mumbling, Chloe looked back once more at her mom before disappearing back behind the curtain..
"Keep mumbling, you won't be getting nothing !!" Yasmine yelled back at her as she continued to look through dresses
"Yasmine, what's the point of flying her all the way out here to Paris to look for a dress if you're going to say no to everything she chooses ?!" Linda asked with her hands on her hips
Frowning, Yasmine waved her off "This was her and Cam's doing !! I'm the one said she could find a dress in New York, this trip is unnecessary!! She's just 16, blame your son for spoiling the girl !!" She said rolling her eyes
"Ok, what's wrong with the dress ?" Linda asked
"Her breasts are popping out, her butt is sticking out !! You can see too much!! That's what's wrong with it !!" Yasmine replied
Sucking her teeth Linda took a step back and looked Yasmine up and down "Well look at her mama !! You've got ass & breasts, she gets it from you !! You can't blame the girl for having a shape, a shape that you gave her !!" Linda laughed
"That's not the point, she can find a age appropriate dress .. something that doesn't make her look like ...." Turning her attention back to the dresses Yasmine struggled to find the word she was looking for..
"Like a hoe ?" Linda asked with a smirk
Glancing back at her Yasmine sighed ..
"Yasmine, you can't punish her for what Cam does or .." Stopping herself Linda chose her words wisely
" Or for what I've done .. or did !!" Yasmine asked folding her arms across her chest
Sighing Linda licked her lips "Exactly!! Let the girl live .." She finished as she sat back down
In deep thought, Yasmine scrolled through her phone until Yasmine got dressed .. What Linda said to her was weighing on her mind ..
It wasn't long until Chloe stepped back out of the dressing room, fully dressed in her ripped & bleached jeans and white crop top ..
Her navel was pierced, and even Yasmine had to admit her daughter had every bit of her shape and she hated it .. In her years of being with Cameron and working under Cameron she knew just how dirty men's minds worked !! The smallest things could turn them on, and they actually preferred the younger ones more than most !!
As beautiful as her daughter was she knew it was only a gift and a curse ..
"So can I get it mama ?" She asked interrupting Yas' thoughts
Glancing over at Linda Yas sighed "Get it !!" She replied giving in
Gasping, Chloe ran back into the dressing
room grabbing the dress..
"Thank you mommy !!" She squealed as she embraced Yas in a hug
"Yeah whatever.. if your daddy has anything to say about it it's between you, him, & Linda !!" She replied as they headed for the front counter
Not paying her mom anymore attention Chloe hung the dress up to take a picture of it ..
"Where is he ?" Linda whispered as Yasmine dug through her Gucci bag for her American Express
"Houston.." Yasmine replied dryly "When we leave here I have to fly there, Chloe's flying back with you !!" She responded not making eye contact with Linda
"Oh, for what exactly?" Linda asked
"Business, the usual !!" Yasmine replied as she smiled at Chloe who was walking towards them
"I sent a picture to daddy !!" She said excited
"Let's pay for it and go !! We have a flights to catch !!" Yasmine said handing her card to the clerk
