Looking out the back seat window of the all black Escalade Yasmine took in a deep breath as she watched Cameron's name flash across her screen.. Glancing over at her daughter who was now focused on her phone she
answered the call ..
"Yeah ?" She answered looking out the window
"Where you at ?" He asked
"We just got Chloe's dress, we're going to the hotel and then the airport!!" Yasmine replied
"Airport?!" Chloe interrupted
"Yes, the airport!!" Yasmine said rolling her eyes as she turned her attention back out the window
"But what about my shoes, I need a outfit for the after party too mama !!" She whined
"After party ?!" Yasmine laughed "Chloe you haven't asked me about a after party therefore you're not going to one !! Period !!" She said
"I asked daddy !!" She replied matter of factly
"Chloe, I don't give a damn !! Stop acting like a fuckin brat or you won't be going nowhere !!" Yasmine yelled as she pulled the phone away from her ear ..
Hearing Cameron laugh on the other end of the phone she rolled her eyes as she put it back to her ear ..
"What she want now ?" He asked
"Shoes & a outfit !!" She replied her voice laced with frustration
Cameron was known to let Chloe get her way and it annoyed the fuck out of Yasmine because he was slowly creating a monster for a daughter that for the most part she had to deal with ..
"Well if it's alright with moms they can stay and finish up !!" He replied
Sighing, Yasmine thought about it "We'll see.. what's up ? What you need ?" She asked changing the subject
"I need you to stop and pick someone up for me .." He said
"And who might that be ?" She asked as she looked over at Chloe who was staring into her mouth the entire time ..
"A trade-up !!" He replied dryly already knowing she knew what that meant
"Cam I can't do that and be on time for my flight, I'd have to drop your mom and Chlo off at the hotel first !!" She responded shaking her head
"Take them with you !!" He said
Laughing, Yasmine couldn't believe what he was saying .. They always kept the game far away from Chloe, they made it clear they would keep her oblivious to it all ..
"No, Cam !! Not happening!!" She responded
"It is happening, I already told the driver where to go !! You know how to handle it.. Chloe ain't gonna know shit !! See you when you land .." Hanging up he didn't even give Yasmine a chance to respond
Sighing she looked over at her daughter who was still staring at her ..
"What did he say ? Can I stay ?" She asked
Rolling her eyes Yasmine looked back at Linda in the back seat ..
"You two will be staying so she can find her whatever she needs, but first we have to make a stop !!" She said
"What kind of stop?" Linda asked
"Picking someone up !!" She responded dryly already knowing Linda would know what she meant
"Picking who up ?" Chloe intervened looking up from her phone
"Just a friend !!" Yasmine responded as she caught Linda looking at her out the corner of her eye
