A Little Lost

Chapter 28

Later that night there was a knock at the door.

" Sasha, Gald you came and you brought-" I paused.

He extended his hand.

" My names Chris. I'm here for Gabe."

" Okay. Here come in the kitchen. I'm fixing dinner." I said smiling. They followed me to the kitchen. " Gabe's in the shower so you might have to give him a minute." I said opening the door and going back to the stove.

" Actually you guys came a great time. James and Xavier just left. So we have rooms available." I said flipping the hamburgers over.

" I'll just room with Gabe if that's okay with you." I looked over to Chris.

" That's fine. Might be a tight squeeze because Austin's in there." Although we don't know where he is I thought to myself.

" Thank you." They both said.

" Don't worry about. Just know I might need help with food every once in a while." I said grabbing the buns and a placing the hamburgers on a plate. They nodded. Then I heard someone on the stairs.

" Rebecca!" I heard Gabe call.

" In the kitchen!" I yelled back. He walked in and saw Sasha and Chris.

" Chris!" He said and they gave a bro hug then parted. " Thought you said a week." He chuckled

" Not likely after she told me that she comes to visit and knows this place is off the Association's map that we would be safe." Chris said.

" That's because of Xavier." I said turning to them.

" Is he like the head of the Association?" Chris asked.

" Nope. He's just a wizard who's very powerful." I said and started on the fries.

" Oh." Chris said then turned back to Gabe. " Rebecca said we could room together. If there's room."

Gabe nodded.

" Plenty of room. We'll just need another bed." Gabe said.

" There are two rooms at the very end of the hall that lead to a huge room of beds and supplies and stuff." I said " You can take a bed from there."

" Sweet." Gabe said " You ready?" He asked Chris.

" Yep." Said Chris setting down his bag and following Gabe into the hall.

" Men." I mumbled and Sasha giggled.

She walked over to the coffee pot and started making coffee. I groaned.

" Not you too!" I complained " Gabe always makes coffee."

" As do I." She said pouring her a glass.

" I like my coffee how I like my men. Tan, Sweet, and hot." I said fanning myself.

Sasha burst out laugh. I joined her and soon enough we were both holding out sides. Laughing so hard we were crying.

" Hey! Becca! I can't find my dress and we meet in an-" Rose said walking in the kitchen. " Oh Hi!" She said looking at Sasha.

" Hi." Sasha said looking at Rose. Then Rose turned to me.

" Have you seen it?" She asked.

" Did you check the dryer in the laundry room?" I asked raising my eyebrow. She paused.

" No I'll go check." Then she left.

" Well then." Sasha said taking a sip of coffee. I laughed.
