A Little Lost

Chapter 5

I awoke in a laboratory. I looked around and found an IV in my arm. I sat up and looked around. There was clothes on the other side of the room. I saw the walls were lined with computers. There was an exit to my left. I tried to stand up and fell to the ground. My legs were like jello. I heard voices coming from down the hall. I picked my self up and sat back down on the operation table. My mind was spinning. Then the metal doors slid apart and in walked Gabe, Austin and a stranger. The stranger wasn't very tall and had dark brown hair that reached to the top of his eye brows. He was wearing a blue robe and it was held by a golden belt. He was carrying a brief case with him.

" Good Morning sunshine." Austin said smiling. I gave them a glare as cold as ice. They stopped. But Gabe forced him self to keep moving till he stood in front of me. He extended his arm and held out a hair bow. I held my palm out and he dropped it into my hand. Then it started growing bigger as Jhonny changed back into himself. He gave me a hug and said

" Becca okay!! Becca gone long time."

I smiled and hugged him tightly. I looked up to Gabe who was shocked but winked when he caught my eye. I smiled up at him with my thank you. He smiled as his your welcome. I kissed the top of Jhonnys head and started humming. He was still mumbling and crying. I started rubbing his back and he started to fall asleep. The strange guy mumbled something to Austin and he walked to me and offered his arms to take Jhonny. I glared at him and said

" If you dare try and take him I will end you so fast no one will ever find your body." He shrunk back and hid behind Gabe who still stood where he was. He offered his hands and said

" Rebecca, you have to get dressed at least let one of us take him." I glared even more and Gabe flinched. I got down forgetting my legs were like jello, they slipped from under me and I began to fall. I moved to where my back would cushion the fall. But then I was caught. I opened my eyes and Austin was holding me. He picked me up and carried me to the open laboratory door.

" Austin stop! She needs to get the blood work drawn!!"

Austin kept walking and called back

" Get over it Michael. She needs her family as of now. Well do it later." I looked up and saw he was determined. I looked down and saw Jhonny was still sleeping peacefully. I let Austin carry me through the confusing twist and turns of the hallways leading up to a door. He pushed with his back and it opened in the library across the hall from the dinning room. I frowned and looked around. Austin noticed my shock and said

" What's wrong?"

" There was a lab in the library in this house???" I felt my voice rising and calmed down. Remembering Jhonny sleeping. I kissed his heard again. And said

" Just take me to my room..."

He nodded and asked

" Do you want to walk normal or be there instant?" I paused.

" Instant." Before I even finished we were in my room. He pulled back the covers and laid me down and covered me and Jhonny up. He rubbed Jhonnys head and said

" He's a smart little one." I smiled and nodded.

" He takes after you." He said. My eyes widen and I started laughing. Austin looked puzzled and I said

" He's my little brother. They all are. My younger siblings." He nodded and asked

" What happened to your parents?"

" My dad's dead, and my mom supposedly died but Gabe told me she wasn't." I said yawning. Austin stayed and kept talking to me till I fell asleep.
