A Little Lost

Chapter 21

I told Austin I could walk and decided I could walk to dinner. I told him to not worry about me. He argued then shrugged and left. I hopped in the shower and changed clothes. It took me a moment but I settled on a black shirt that was snug but showed my curves and some faded blue jeans. I left my hair down as it cascaded down my back in array of curls. I left my room and went to the dinning room. Everyone was there and we even had the table extended because of James and Xavier. I paused and felt everyone look at me. I took my seat at head of the table. I notice there were two seats open. I looked around to find Dustin and James gone. In the kitchen I bet. Austin placed his hand on my knee and smiled at me. I saw the doors open as Dustin and James carried in dinner. They sat the trays down and it was like Thanksgiving. There was food everywhere. But the best part. It had bacon. There was bacon covered fried chicken. Mac and Cheese. Mashed potatoes. Corn. And a huge turkey covered in bacon. I felt my mouth go wide as everyone just stared at the food in awe. James and Dustin swapped high fives and took their seats. I shook my head and smiled to them.

" Thank you." I said. They smiled.

" I would like to make a toast!" Austin said raising his glass. And everyone followed suit.

" I just want to say that knowing you all and Rebecca has made me realize what family is. Gabe's been the only family I've ever known and I say we are bros till the end. But to be here with such a wonderful woman and her amazing family" he said looking at me " You realize that you can't help but fall in love and want to wake up to her shining face every day. And see life through a whole new light. Because you now can't seem to see the future days of your life with out her. To Rebecca!"

" To Rebecca!!" Everyone chimed. And we took a drink. Austin sat down as Rose stood up.

" I would like to add to Austin's previous toast. Rebecca is a caring person and has such high hopes for us all. That's why we love her so much even though she wakes us up at 6 in the morning on a freaking Friday. And I still don't see why." I giggled as everyone chuckled. " Any way to our Rebecca!"

" To our Rebecca!" Everyone chimed in and took a drink. Jhonny stood up and yelled

" Can we eat?!" I laughed and stood up.

" I would just like to say.." Gabe stood up and said

" No! Not you too! My stomach is eating itself and I can't feel my taste buds there's so much drool! Can we eat now?" I laughed and said

" Dig in!"

About thirty minutes later everyone had eaten the food. James left saying everyone stay put and he forgot something. I sat back in my chair staring at everyone while they chit chatted. The light dimmed and James walked in carrying a cake. Everyone started singing.

" Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dearest Becca! Happy Birthday to you!" James set the cake in front of me and said

" Blow out the candles." I looked around and said

" But."

" Hey no buts now! Be happy and enjoy it. It is Midnight after all. So happy 18th birthday Rebecca." Gabe said grabbing some icing and wiping it on my nose. I blushed and blew out the candles. Everyone cheered as the cake was cut and pieces were handed out. I picked up Jhonny.

" Oh no you don't. Bed little guy." I said holding him like a baby. He nodded and let me carry him upstairs and I started singing Hate that I Love You by Ne-yo featuring Rihanna.

" But I hate it...

You know exactly what to do

So that I can't stay mad at you

For too long that's wrong.." And I tucked him in. I kissed his already sleeping head and walked back. I saw Austin in the hall walking towards me.

" Hey I- " he kissed me and pushed me against the wall. He pulled back. His eyes were full of lust.

" I missed you. And your body." He said and kissed me again. I ripped his shirt off. And giggled. I wrapped my legs around him. He started kissing my neck and I let out a moan.

" My room." I said in between gasps and moans. He was laying me on my bed and I heard my door close. I tugged on his belt buckle. He started to take off my shirt. There was a knock at my door. We froze.

" Rebecca, You got a minute?" It was Xavier.

" Yeah just give me a second. " I called back and Austin disappeared into the bathroom.

" Come in!" I said and he walked in and set down a bag.

" Here's how were going to kill your mother."
