The week went by pretty fast, there was some valentine dance coming up at school and everybody was taking about it.
Many guys asked me but I said no to all of them, not cause they were ugly but because I wasn't interested in stupid school dances and if I went, I'd only want to go with Justin and he'd never say yes to me even if I had the guts to ask him.
Things between me and Justin have been awkward lately and I've been really worried.
Did he not mean what he said to me that night?
Did he like me? Was he just joking when he called me beautiful?
It was just a friendly complement, I say to myself. Nothing more.
I was going over to Justin's house today with Ryan and Chaz. We were gonna watch some movies
I changed into purple skinnies and a black tank-top. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I put some lipgloss on and just when I was about to tie my hair up in a pony tail Justin words played in my head
"You should leave your hair down often it looks beautiful"
I felt a blush rise on my cheeks
I let go of the pony tail and let my golden brown hair dangle down my shoulders. Looking at myself in the mirror, I decided to leave my hair down as shocking as that sounds
I smiled as I made my way to Justin House

I knocked on the door and Chaz answered.
"Hey guys" I said walking in.
"Hi- OMG! YOUR HAIR IS DOWN! JUSTIN, RYAN, GO GET THE CAMERA! WE MIGHT NEVER SEE THIS MOMENT AGAIN!"
I rolled my eyes.
"So it's just hair. I was having a headache so I let my hair down, God Chaz."
I knew Chaz, he would obviously make a big deal he was so dramatic so I quickly made up a lie
"Headache" He smirked
"Yes now stop looking at me like that" I said throwing a pillow at him
Me and Chaz walked in to Justin room and they both looked as us well, mostly me
I could feel Justin's eyes on me this couldn't get any awkwarder
"ohhh look at Kelse looking all prettyyyy with her hair down apparently she has a headache" Chaz blurt out
And there's stupid Chaz for you, just when I thought this couldn't get any awkwarder, Chaz had to open his mouth
"Ohh Lalaaaaa Kelseyyyy
You look stunning if I wasn't your best friend i'd totally ask you out right now"
"Wow I just let down my hair you guys are so overdramatic"
