"You can do it." Pj says, as he gives me a reassuring pat on my shoulder.
I've told him I'd rather go to the principal alone, so I can be completely honest.

I knock on the door and open it. I walk inside.

"Mr. Howell! Take a seat. What brings you here?" A quirky voice says.

I slowly close the door and walk to the chair, keeping my head down. I sit down and clear my throat.

"I, uh.. I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Of course, tell me."

It's silent for a while. I'm processing what I'm going to say.

Tell him.

"I.. I.. Someone.. Erm.."

Ssh, calm down. Tell him, take your time.

I take a deep breath.

"Someone from this school bullies me. He beats me almost every day, he.. He throws insults at me.. I didn't want to come to you because I- I was scared and I don't want him to beat me up even more." I try to hold back the tears that start to form.

"Wow. I have a lot of respect for you. I'm glad that you came to me. Now, can you tell me the name of this particular person?"

"I- I don't want to cause any trouble.."

"Mr. Howell, this person deserves to be punished for what he did to you. We won't tell him you told us. You'll be safe."

"Okay. H- his name is Joel. Joel Williams."

The principal writes his name down on a yellow sticky note.

"Thank you for telling me. We'll promise to do something about it soon. Have a good day, Daniel."

"Thank you so much."

I quickly stand up and walk out of the room. The second I open the door, tears are streaming down my face.
Pj immediately walks up to me.

"Dan! Are you okay? How did it go?"

"I am. Fine. He'll do something about it." I sob.
Pj gives me a hug, I cry onto his shoulder. "Sorry."

"For what, Dan? You did well. I'm proud of you."

Hi, sorry for not updating for a while! I'll try to update more often.

Also, can someone tell me when to use toward and when to use towards? I don't really know the difference, I get confused all the time. I know when to use it, but like for example, if I say: "I walk toward(s) the chair," which one do I use? I've never really taken the time to Google it lmao
