"I've just come back from the hospital." As the words come from Phil's mouth, I start pondering.

Phil broke his wrist. He fell down the stairs.

My mouth falls open. I stare at Phil through my screen, shocked.

"You okay? It's only broken, don't worry. It'll heal in a few weeks."

"Y- yeah, no, I'm fine, I just remembered something. I have to go. Get well soon, uh.. yeah. Get well soon. I'll call you back later."

*end call*

I close my laptop and let out a shaky breath.

I figured out the identity of my soulmate. What happens now? I can't tell him I'm Moon. Something bad may happen.

Sun? How is your wrist?

It's broken. But it's not that bad, it'll heal in a few weeks.

I can still talk to him. Phew.
Little does he know he's talking to the same person as he was three minutes ago.

What now? What if I want to meet Phil one day? I can't make excuses until I'm 18.

I don't know what to do. I guess I should just keep talking to Phil and see what happens. I can't do anything about it.

How did he upload that so fast? I click on the notification. The thumbnail is him pointing at his wrist with a sad face.

"Hey guys! So.. I fell down the stairs today. Typical me. I'm going to upload less videos this month, because it's kind of hard to edit with one hand. I'll be back, though! So yeah, that was a quick update. See you next time! Bye!"

I put my phone away and walk downstairs.

"Mom?"

She looks up from her book. "Yeah?"

"I uh, I have a question."

"Take a seat. Go ahead."

I sit down on the chair next to my mom's and sigh.

"Did you have a soulmate?"

She smiles. "I did. Your dad."

"Wait, dad was your soulmate?"

"He was. I met him when I was 24. I had talked to him for six years. We just.. never met."

"I have a soulmate."

"You do? That's amazing, Daniel! You're lucky."

"It is, but.. I accidentally figured out who they are. They don't know who I am, but I'm scared that if I tell them, everything will change."

"Well.. I don't know if this is true, but apparently if both of your parents are dead, you can meet your soulmate before you're 18."

"But you're not dead, mom. What should I do?"

She stares blankly at the wall. "I guess you should wait. It will be fine, Daniel. Just remember that your soulmate can always comfort you."
