Alec's Son

Jorden's eyes snap towards Alec, pure rage over taking his entire figure. Before I can yell Jorden is charging at Alec. Angelica pulls Dino closer in her arms just as Jorden knocks Alec to the ground. COLE! HELP! I shout through the link.

Cole bursts into the room seconds later. He quickly moves me so I am out of the way and behind him before stalking towards Jorden. "CONTROL YOURSELF!" he roars grabbing Jorden and pulling him away from Alec.

Jorden lunges, trying to get around Cole. "Cool it." Cole soothes, holding Jorden in place. Alec stands up wiping the blood off of his mouth. Jorden growls at him but soon looks away. Cole's eyes soften; no doubt the result of a mindlink conversation between the pair.

"Go walk it off. I'll be up there soon." Jorden storms out of the room quickly, but not quick enough to hide his true feelings from me. I notice the steady stream of tears leaking down his face.

Cole's face hardens as he turns towards Alec and Angelica. "Explain what the hell just happened." Angelica sobs louder. Cole looks towards her before glancing down at Dino. "Meet your son." She is finally able to get out.

Alec's head snaps to the side to glare at her. His eyes then shift down to look at Dino. He takes a step back while shaking his head. "No." He mumbles. He balls his fists before bringing them up to grasp his head. "No." He repeats, shaking his head. "He won't love me." Alec's whole frame begins to tremble and shake as his panic runs through him.

I quickly turn to look at Cole who is staring at Alec with his signature furrowed eyebrows. "Why?" Alec asks himself, grabbing onto his ears and pulling them. "I didn't want that. I love Parker." Alec squeezes his eyes shut. "Why did you do that?" We all assume he is addressing the young Italian beauty. Angelica sobs harder pulling her child impossibly closer to her bosom at Alec's words.

"Alec." Cole calls gently. Being no stranger to handling panic attacks Cole knows that he needs to remain calm and soothing. "Alec!" He says a little louder but still gentle causing the Gamma's head to snap up to look at Cole. "It's ok man." Cole raises his hands to show the incoherent warrior that he means no harm before he takes a few steps closer to Alec.

"Parker." Cole turns to mouth to me. Parker. I attempt to link the head pack warrior. Luna? His response floats through instantly. Umm... Alec is kind of having a panic attack in the main living room. On my way Luna.

Parker bursts into the room, much like Cole had, shortly after the link closes off. "Alec." He whispers, his voice low and soothing. "Parker." Alec's voice shakes as he calls out to his lover.

"Yes I'm here look at me." Parker crouches down in front of Alec. Slowly Parker grabs Alec's hands and moves them down away from his ears. He kisses them softly as he unclenches the fingers. "Speak to me Alec; tell me what is wrong. Don't fold in on yourself, let me help you." Alec swallows before starting to talk. "He--" Alec stops to tightly clench his eyes shut before speaking again. "He made me have a child." Parker's eyes shoot open in astonishment by Alec's answer.

Parker turns around slightly to look at Dino in Angelica's arms, his face falling in the process. "Alec, your father has been dead for five years. He didn't make you do this." Alec starts to shake his head back and forth repeatedly. "Not him Parker not him!" Alec begins to shake violently which has Cole pulling me into his arms, offering me his comfort.

"Hey Alec, calm down, stop that." Parker chides quickly pulling the Gamma into his arms. The rest of the conversation is whispered into Alec's ear. Despite our lack of knowledge on the soothing words said, they work to bring Alec out of his panic.

After a while of calming down Alec stands up and turns to Angelica. "I am gay." He whispers. Parker stands and looks at Dino before walking out of the room. "Parker!" Alec calls after him, terrified that he has lost his lover. Parker doesn't turn around and Alec wastes no time in bolting after him.

Cole turns to look at Angelica once the pair has left the room. "Explain yourself." His commanding tone makes her flinch; no doubt his protectiveness for Jorden coming out.

She hiccups a little trying to stop her crying enough to talk. "Jorden, he-- what we had was nothing more than a teenage fling." I flinch thinking about how much Jorden obviously loves her. "Why sleep with Alec." Cole's jaw clenches, showing his anger. "I-he, it felt right, so right." Cole is away from my side and standing in front of her in three swift steps. "You disgust me. Don't show your face around here again. Take your child and leave." Angelica's mouth pouts open making her look like a fish. "But the ceremony--" "Now!" Cole roars, causing the woman to quickly move out of the room, her child in tow.

He sighs before returning to my side. Cole gathers me in his arms and lightly kisses my forehead before speaking. "I'm going to talk to Jorden." He explains, "You go wait in my office please. I have something I want to discuss." I kiss his cheek before making my way up the stairs with only one thought floating around my head; what the hell just happened?
