Not So Nice Greeting

Emilys POV:

They book us a first class flight back home. I couldn't wait to go see my friends! I missed them all so much. I can't believe I can't tell them we won. That kind of stinks but I will get over it I guess I will have to wait. They said they that we should all meet at Sawyer's apartment when we told them we were coming. I can't wait to be filled up on the drama! Maybe some make-ups and break-ups. Who knows! We get on our flight and head for L.A.

Joey: So how does it feel to win a million dollars?

Emily: I guess you could ask yourself that question as well.

Joey: True! What do you want to do with the money?

Emily: I was hoping maybe we could buy a house. You know with lots of windows and big rooms for the kids to grow up in.

Joey: Don't forget about the big pool!

Emily: And the office with a view of the pool!

Joey: Well we have to also have a good street as well. With an even better school district.

Emily: We want smart kids!

Joey: I hope they have your knowledge.

Emily: And your computer skills.

Joey: With your smile.

Emily: And your eyes.

Joey: No!

Emily: What?

Joey: I want them to have your eyes.

Emily: Why mine. 

Joey: That was the first thing I noticed about you and thats what made me fall in love with you. If it weren't for those blue eyes I would have had you slip away from me.

Emily: Fine I will compromise. We have two kids, one with blue eyes and one with green.

Joey: I could deal with that I guess.

Emily: Boy and a girl?

Joey: We could make them their own Youtube channels!

Emily: Alright now we are going a little crazy.

Joey: Just excited for the future it is nice to know where I am going to be in 10 years and that is with you.

Emily: Unless I dump you for Luke or Shane.

Joey: What?

Emily: Nothing!

He gave me a frown. I smiled and kissed him. I cuddled up to his arm and fell asleep. I can't believe we just won The Amazing Race.

Joeys POV:

I shake Emily awake. We were about to land. I stayed awake the whole time. I was still going on about our future. We got an Uber and went home. We quickly got home and put our stuff away. Emily showered first well I got dressed. She walked out in a white sundress. She was stunning. Her blonde reflected off the sun rays that were shining in the window. 

Emily: Ready?

Joey: Yep!

We got in my car and drove to Sawyer's. We arrived and ran out of the car. We couldn't wait to see our friends. We haven't seen them for awhile now. We had no social connect. That is the worst part. After all I did have Emily which made it easie. I always had someone to talk to. We get in the elevator and we could stand still or wipe the smiles on our faces. The elevator dinged and we arrived. We ran to the door and without knocking we entered. Both of our faces dropped this is not what we were expecting. This is not good.

Emilys POV:

We walk in and no one was around. The couch was tiped over along with some of the stools. The coffee table was shattered. This made no sense. What happened here?

Emily: Oh my god!

Joey: Sawyer? Shane? Lisa?

Emily: Anyone?

Joey: Over here Em!

I run over and Joey hands me a note. I read it out loud.

Emily: Revenge is upon you. You killed a loved one and I must return you the favor. My location is where you broke my loved ones heart. There is no chance of you getting your little friends back. After all, what goes around comes around.

Joey: It is signed Derek. Who is that?

I am shaking and shocked. I only new one person that said what goes around comes around. 

Emily: Joey, Derek is Eric's younger brother.

Joey: Are you kidding me right now?

Emily: I really wish I was this point. Luke killed Eric. "I broke" Erics heart. He wants revenge of Eric's death by hurting our friends. Ericv always said what goes aorund comes around. They are in New York. The place I left Eric.

Joey: Emily Luke's guitar is here.

Emily: Joey, I think Derek knows that Luke is the one who shot Eric.We need to go back to New York!

Joey: We have to save them.

Emily: This is all my fault.

Joey: How is this your fault?

Emily: I should have just sucked it up with Eric. I should have never left. I could have saved many lives. As well as hosptial trips.

Joey: Emily that is like me saying I should have never hired Jessica. You can't change the past you have to embrace it.

Emily: You are right! Lets head to New York! 

We drive to the airprot. We are once again on a wild goose chase. This is so frustrating! I hate this I hate all of Eric's nut case family. This will be put to an end once and for all. I am done being messed with. I am sick of people  taking away the things and people I love.Why don't they just take it out on me? Why the people I love? I don't care what it takes I will get my friends back. Sorry Derek but you are going down!
