Bad Timing

Emilys POV:

I storm out in tears and go down to the lobby. I rent my own hotel room and go upstairs to it. I will get my stuff eventually. I just can't look at him in the eye at the moment I need some time to cool off. I am really not in a good mood. I get in my bed and just lay there. It is not the same without Joey but I guess I better get used to it. I finally drift asleep.

Joeys POV:

I lie her awake. I clench the ring in my palm. It kills me that I let her go. Maybe we weren't meant to be together. Maybe this happened for a reason. I really can't sleep without her here now. I worry about her. I don't know where she is she could be on a plane to L.A. for all I know. I guess I just need ot let her go and move on.

Emilys POV:

I wake up with a headache and realize my ring isn't on my finger. What did I do last night? As the memories flood in my head hurts more. I threw the ring at Joey! Oh man I really dug myself a hole this time. How am I going to get myself out of it is the question here. I should go talk to Kalel! I get showered and dressed and I walk over to her room. I knock and she opens the door and she looked even worse then I did.

Kalel: Hey Em, what we did last night lets never do that again.

Emily: Agreed!

Kalel: Here come in.

Emily: Hey is Anthony here?

Kalel: No I am not speaking to him right now. So what happened with Joey last night.

Emily: We broke up.

Kalel: WHAT?!?!? NO!! What happened Emily Lace!

Emily: We got made at one another I threw the ring at him and walked out.

Kalel: Oh my god! Well you have to get him back.

Emily: How? I ruined everything had this picture perfect life with him and I threw it all away. 

Kalel: Tell him how sorry you are how bad you feel. I can see on your face you just feel horrible about the whole thing.

Emily: I do Kalel I really do.

Kalel: Tell him that.

Emily: I will we were always really good with second chances!

Kalel: Come on lets go!

Joeys POV:

I go to the pool bar it was very nice and tropical there. Which is pretty weird for Florida I guess. Anthony was at a table alone. I was mad at him to if it weren't for him I wouldn't be in this mess. I just studied the ring in my hand. Wondering what I could do to make things better.

X: Heart broken huh?

Joey: Yep, I am Joey and you?

X: I am Ella.

Joey: Nice to meet you Ella.

Ella: So I have been trying to make flirting gestures to you all morning this girl most be something for you to ignore me.

Ella was pretty just not like Emily.

Joey: Well I just I don't know at this point were I am with her. She doesn't want anything to do with me.

Ella: Well, I want something to do with you.

Joey: Whaa

She cut me off my kissing me. I heard a gasp and it wasn't just from Anthony.

Emilys POV:

Kalel and I walk down to the pool bar.

Emily: Do you really think he will take me back?

Kalel: Of course he will now lets go!

We walk in and I see Joey kissing a girl way prettier then me. Anthony was there too for some reason all three of us gasp. I shake my head in disbelief. This isn't happening. Joey pulls away and looks over at me. My voice cracks.

Emily: How could you Joey? We haven't been apart for 24 hours and you have moved on? Nice.

Joey: I didn't kiss her. She kissed me.

Emily: Oh isn't that always your story?

Joey: Emily I am not lying to you. I never have lied to you. You were never a dibs I made. I wish you could see that.

Anothny: dude you just kissed another girl.

Joey: At least I remember the night I met Emily.

Kalel: You don't remember the night we met?

Kalel stroms out and Anthony runs after her.

Emily: Gotta ruin everybody elses life when you are in pain right?

Joey: Emily please listen to me.

Emily: Why so I can be crushed more?

I walk out and he starts to chase me. I start to run I don't want to see him anymore. He speeds up I keep running. I wipe my tears as I run. I can't believe him! He catches up to me and grabs me. I kick and scream to let me go and he drags me behind a bunch of bushes were nobody can see us. He lets me go and looks me in the eye. I slap him across the face. 

Joeys POV:

I get her alone and she slaps me! My cheek stings and I put my hand on the red mark.

Joey: Ouch!!

She covers her mouth with her hands and shakes her head. She puts one hand on my shoulder.

Emily: I am so sorry. I don't know what came over me.

Joey: No, no I deserved that one. Dragging you was kinda harsh.

Emily: What do you want Joey? Want to stomp on my heart some more.

Joey: God Emily no! I want you to listen.

Emily: How could I? I came back to try to get you back and you were kissing another girl.

Joey: you wanted e back?

Emily: Yes, but forget that.

She starts to walk away. I grab her shoulder and bring her back.

Emily Let me go!

Joey: Not untill you here me out.

Emily: I don't want to here it.

Joey: Why? Are you afraid that you are going to be wrong.

Emily: I saw you kissing her! I should have known especially after you kissed Brittany better yet Jessica! This time you weren't even drunk or forced.

Joey: Ella kissed me!

Emily: Oh so now she has a name?

Joey: D you know how childish you sound.

Emily: Do you know how childish this all is? Lets face it Joey We weren't meant to be.

Joey: That is not true! You know what Emily? Ella was a very nice pretty girl.

Emily: Is there a point to this?

Joey: She wasn't you. Seh wasn't as pretty as you I eevn said that to myself. Her kindness would fade away and I am sure she has some pretty ugly colors behind that smile. But you, you open this whole new world for me. Ella kissed me. I didn't kiss back. I pulled away.

Emily: Ya, when I walked in.

Joey: Come on Emily. You have to admit that you felt something with me. That you love me.

Emily: I do love you Joey I always will but with love comes trust. How can I trust you?

Joey: How do we trust anybody? I trust you. I love you Em. I want you back I didn't sleep last night because you weren't there. I miss seeing your smile and your eyes. This past year has been the best of my life. Not because all the sucess but because I had you. We have had a rough past but I would do it all over again if it meant I would be with you. So what do you say? Will you marry me? Again? 

I hold out the ring.

Emily: No.
