A turtle's self doubt (Mikey×Shinigami story)

Ch. 8 Not wroth it

Mikey grips the railing at last minute, now dangling over a vat of chemicals. Mikey struggles to hang on. Tigerclaw smirks evilly at him. Tigerclaw exstands his claws and digs his claws into Mikey's hand. Mikey cringes in pain but still hands on tight to railing.

Your brothers won't be able to save you this time turtle Tigerclaw said coldly , further digging his claws into Mikey's skin.

I don't need them to bail me out ! I can handle myself ! Mikey shouts, trying to ignore the pain.

Will see about Cub ! Tigerclaw snares coldy as he raises his claws to strike Mikey one more time.

Mikey closes his eyes. His brothers where not gonna save him in time. He was useless. If he couldn't defeat Tigerclaw and Razar, than what worth dose he have on the team. He was nothing but trouble for his brothers, constantly getting in the way of thire missions. He just wanted this to end.

Suddenly Tigerclaw is struck in the face by Shinigami who kicks him square in the face. Tigerclaw stumbles to the ground. Shinigami looks over at the railing where Mikey was desperately trying to hang on. His hand slowly bleeding. Shinigami grips the bleeding hand and tries to pull the youngest the turtle up.

Give me your other hand ! Shinigami shouts.

Tears fall from Mikey's eyes. He felt useless.

Please you need to give me your hand ! Shinigami shouts.

I'm useless, I'm useless ,I'm useless Mikey mutters over and over again. It was like he was in trans. Not relizing Shinigami was trying to help him.

What is wrong with him ? Shinigami asks her self. She studies Mikey. She notices The pain in his face.

Is he suffering mentally like I did ? Shinigami asks herself.

She suddenly felt Mikey losing his grip. Shinigami grips his hand tighter.

What are you doing ?! Shinigami shouts.

I'm a screw up ! Mikey sobs.

You need to give me you other hand ! Shinigami tells mikey, trying her best to reach him with the little time she had before this factory blew up.

Mikey wasn't listening. He lost in thought. Thinking what Raph said to him. Mikey knew he was right. It was his fault Leo got hurt. Now he was going to pay the price.

Shinigami looks at timers on the bombs. Only two minutes left. She need to think of something to reach Mikey and quickly.

What's the Kappa ' s name ? What did he call himself ? Shinigami thought.

She suddenly relives the conversation they had earlier.

Mikey ! Shinigami blurts out.

Mikey suddenly looks at her. Tears clouding his eyes.

You need to listen to me Mikey, you must grab my hand so I can help you but I can't do it alone you have to help me, help you Shinigami tells him.

Mikey looks at her.

I know what your going through but you have to trust me please Shinigami begs.

Mikey slowly reaches his other hand up, feeling he could trust her. Shinigami grabs his other hand and pulls him up. She places him back on the ground.

Grab onto me I'm getting us out of here Shinigami said.

Mikey grabs onto her and suddenly red smoke covers them. Next thing Mikey knew he was on top of a bulding far away from Almond Chemicals.

Suddenly Mikey hears a loud explosion. Then he sees the chemical factory up in flames.

Whoa !

Athour's note : Sorry if this Chapter was a little dark but I wanted to dig deeper on how Mikey was feeling. Next chapter will be a Mikey and Shinigami scene ! Yaaaaa !
