It's already been two years since I moved to Miami. I had a lot more people I normally associate with, than I had in the beginning when I first moved. My two closest friends are named Jessica and Jhene.
I met Jessica through work and Jhene the day I moved into my apartment. They already knew each other.
"Jess, are you also thinking about milkshakes right now? It's like 95 degrees." We where all at the beach because why not. It's 95 degrees and everyone is out enjoying themselves. We walked three blocks to out favorite restaurant and I ordered a chocolate milkshake. Jess and Jhene ordered something else.
"So Bruce wants me to spend this weekend with him but I just don't feel like it. What should I tell him?" Jhene asked. Bruce is dating Jhene and she wants to end the relationship but doesn't have the heart to tell him. "You could say that you're traveling with me and mariah this weekend. You two are coming with me to the mall this weekend so technically it wouldn't be lying." Jessica said while eating her fries. "We are?" I asked. Jessica shook her head up and down. "I'm using that." Jhene said with her straw in her mouth.
"Which mall are we going to?" Jhene asked. "To the one that's like three hours away." Jessica replied.
We finished our food and exited the restaurant. We went back to my apartment instead because it was getting hotter outside, and because I ha ac. Jessica went to the fridge and grabbed an orange and started peeling it. "So I was thinking like what are some main point of interests at the mall when we go," Jessica asked "I know where I want to go but I want to see where you guys want to go." Jessica finished.
"I honestly don't know, I guess we'll have to see." I said.
