Mariah didn't want to get out of the water. I knew everyone would see her legs. I can't believe she kept doing this to herself, after all this time. What was causing her so much pain to the point where she would hurt herself? I caught Mike looking at them when we were sitting in the sand.
Jaime was harassing everyone about getting pizza, so to shut him up we went and got pizza. Vic and everyone else sat in a booth, Mariah and I sat at a separate table. "What do you want for dinner?" She flipped through the menu then looked up at me. "I'll probably have a burger." I closed my menu and she closed hers. "Burgers it is." Our waitress came to take our order "What will you two be having today?" She said with smile. She took our order and left.
"How was your day today?" I held my Riah's hands over the table in mine. "Good, perfect. I have you now."
The waitress arrived with our burgers, neither of us said a word until we finished eating. "Those were delicious." I huffed. "I couldn't agree more" Riah nodded also sipping her sprite. I noticed Jamie looked awful, he looked distraught. And on top of that he wasn't acting himself. He kept his head down most of the time we were at the restaurant. "Does something seem off about Jaime?" Riah turned her head and observed Jaime with me.
