Chapter 22

Nic's POV:

Me and Jerome have been going to the hospital everyday now.

Mitch hasn't woken up.

Every time I go to the hospital to see him I break.

I'm nothing without my older brother to protect me.

I know Jerome can protect me but, Mitch has a way to keep me cool.

If I lost him, I don't know what would happen.

We walk into the hospital for the 15th time and check in at the desk.

We walk down the hall to the room where Mitch was.

Jerome opens the doors then I close it behind me.

I sit on the side of the bed.

I see his chest rise once then stop, then rise then stop.

"Jerome.." I say shakily.

"Ya I'll go get someone!" He sprints out of the room.

I put Mitch's head in my lap and whisper the words I first said to him. He shutters and his eyes open.

"Whe-where am I?" Mitch asks.

"MITCH!!!!" I scream and hug him.

He returns the hug, "How long was I out?"

"Eh 16 days." I reply.

"Oh sorry. I must have given you a heart attack." He smiles.

"Ya but your worth is Mitch!!" I smile.

The doctor walks into the room with some papers.

"We heard you cheering and I came to tell you that Mr.Hughes can go home!" The doctor smiles.

We grab our things, "Thanks doc!!"

Mitch's POV:

I hear voices as I reach the sun. Once more I hear the words I first heard. I shutter then my eyes fly open.

"Whe-where am I?" I sit up and scratch my head.

"MITCH!!!!" Nic screams and hugs me.

-10 mins later-

We leave the hospital and start driving. We pass by the house and keep driving.

"Uh where are we going?" I ask.

"You'll see." Nic smiles.

We drive through a small town and arrive at a seven eleven.

"Really?!?" I tease.

"Yup!" Se grins and runs into the store.

We grab our slurpees and head home.

-at the house-

We walk to the door and Nic unlocks it.

"SUPRISE!!!!!!" People scream as they jump out.

"Thanks guys!" I smile.

"Come party!!" Everyone yells.

-after the party-

"Hey guys wanna record?" I ask.

"Ya sure!" The both reply.

"How bout Dino's?" Nic asks.

"Sure haven't done one of those in awhile." I smile.
