Chapter 25

Jerome's POV:

It's been awhile since Jason was introduced to Maddie(vice versa), and I think they are perfect for each other.

How would I know, Mitch told me that Nic had a dream.

Mitch, Nic, Chell, Chris and I were talking when we saw Jason and Maddie come down the stairs.

Their hands were intertwined and they were smiling.

Nic leans over and whispers, "Looks like I predicted right!"

I laugh and nod.

"So how are you too?" I ask trying to keep a straight face.

"Well we are now together!" Jason smiles.

"Congrats guys!" Chell claps.

"Oh and guys I'm moving to this general area!" Maddie smiles.

"Now we can see each other more often!" Nic smiles and walks over to the sink.

She grabs her watering can and waters the plants inside.

-2 hours later-

Mitch's POV:

"Hey Mitch can you come with me?" Nic asks me.

"Ya sure." I reply.

We walk into the backyard and we sit under our favorite tree.

"Mitch I found something while I was thinking on the roof." She began.

"What was it?" I ask.

She gets up and walks over to a dog crate and lifts the blanket off the top.

What I see inside is absolutely breathtaking.

"N-Nic did you help her when it was happening?" I stare shocked.

"Yes but it was hard. Four is alot." She replied smiling.

I hug her and whisper, "Lets keep them."

She turns around and sobs into my chest, "I thought you were going to say no!"

"Of course not! You love cats and you obviously want them!" I laugh.

"Thanks Mitch! I already named them you know." She smiles.

"Cool what are they named?" I ask.

"Well since I like Warriors, they will start off with their kit names then go to apprentices, then warriors!" She says taking out the kits.

She pulls out a black kit, "His name is Blackkit!"

"Her name is Poppykit!" She says putting down the tan she-cat.

"His name is Jaykit, when I saw him and his blue eyes I took a closer look. I found out that he is blind but he is healthy and strong so he will survive(Warriors fans you know what I did)!" She gestures to the small gray Tom with dark gray stripes.

"This last she-cat I couldn't think of a name for. Do you mind naming her?" She looked at me, her eyes gleaming.

"Sure! How bout, Spottedkit?!" I say as I hold the spotted she-cat.

"That's perfect!!" She smiles and laughs.

"Their mom is named Silverleaf!" She says as she grabs the silver she-cat.

"They are going to fit right in with our family!" I smile.

I look down at the kits as they play fight in the lawn.

They remind me of me and Nic when we were young.

-Flashback-

Me and Nic ran outside without shoes or socks on.

"Ok Mitch lets get you tough!" She laughs.

"Fine but first tell me Sensei Nic what is the lesson called?" I tease.

"How bout, the art of toughening up Mitch!!" She laughs.

"Fine lets go!" I laugh.

We play fight and have the time of our lives.

-30 minutes later-

We both lay breathless on the lawn looking at the sky.

"Did student Mitch learn anything today?" Nic asks.

"Yes Sensei I did!" I smile back.

"Oh well what did you learn?" She teases.

"I learned to never mess with you!" We both burst out laughing.

-end of flashback-

Oh the feels!! So fun to write!! Btw I never plan out what I write, it just comes into my head. The words appear so I write them down(I believe that we are all machines that... Oh heck no one cares).
