Chapter 28

Jerome's POV:

While we were talking to Jason he seemed, odd.

Like he was hiding something.

'Its probably nothing!' I say in my head.

I walk into the kitchen to make myself a sandwich.

I grab the bread, meat, vegetables and everything else I need.

I start to make my sandwich when Nic comes in followed by 4 kittens.

"Looks like you have a posse(idk if its the correct way to spell it)!" I tease.

"Oh be quiet!" She laughs.

"So how are they doing?" I say as I sit down at the table.

"Their fine just a little tired, just like all baby animals." She replies.

"I noticed that Poppykit was limping a little." I add.

She picks up Poppykit and examines her leg.

"It's just a pulled muscle. Nothing to worry about." She says putting the kit down.

"Shouldn't you wrap it?" I ask.

"No, nature is the best medicine." She adds.

"Sounds good to me!" I then take a bite of my sandwich.

"Well I have to go make some videos." She says.

"Alright see ya later!" I reply.

Mitch's POV:

Jason seemed suspicious when we were talking to him.

He looked distant and deep in thought.

I've seen that look on Nic before but never on the way he looked.

'He's hiding something' I think to myself.

I walk out of my room and head to the couch.

I was greeted to a soft fluffy couch with no one on it.

I hop onto the couch and channel surf.

I finally stop on the history channel.

I don't know why the history channel but nothing else good was on.

After and hour or two of watching the history channel, Nic and Jerome come join me.

Nic snatches the remote from my side and changes it to How It's Made.

"Really?" I tease.

"Hey it's this or Ninjago. Take your pick." She grins.

"This." I fake sigh.

We watched How Its Made for awhile when we finally checked the clock.

"Dang, it's already 6!" Jerome says.

"Ya but I'm tired!" I yawn.

Nic's POV:

We weren't hungry so we just had a snack and went off into our rooms.

I went to Mitch's door and I heard him tapping his keyboard.

I silently walk in and sneak up behind him.

"BOO!!!" I scream.

He jumped, what looked like 3 feet into the air.

"Gosh I almost had a heart attack!" He said heaving.

"Well I'm glad you didn't!" I laugh.

"So what's up?" He asks.

"Well when we were talking to Jason he seemed different..." I began.

"Almost devious." I finish.

"You mean like he's planning something?" He asks.

"Ya and it doesn't seem good." I add.

"Well lets not worry about, lets just enjoy ourselves." Mitch smiles.

"You mean like pranking Jerome?!" I grin.

"Yup!" He evilly laughs.

Well there's another chapter!!! The next chapter is the last then the epilogue!!!
