Josh was afraid. No, he was more than afraid. He was petrified. Last night in the hall, Brendon had said he was going to kill him.

Tyler, however, wasn't afraid.

No, Tyler wasn't afraid.

Tyler wasn't afraid until he woke up in someone else's bed with a blindfold around his eyes.

"Josh?" Tyler murmured quietly.

No response. The bed felt cold.

Yes, Tyler was afraid.

Of course, he didn't show that he was afraid. Never.

Instead, Tyler groaned in annoyance.

"What the fuck, guys?" Tyler called out, sitting up in whatever bed he was laying in. The blindfold completely restricted his vision, making everything pitch black. "Mark, I swear to God, if this is you again-"

Tyler blindly found the edge of the bed and stood up onto the cold floor. His feet were bare, as was his chest, as was...well, everything.

"Dammit," Tyler cursed under his breath when he put two and two together.

"Guys, seriously!" Tyler called, grabbing the sheet off the bed and tying it around his waist. "I thought we were done with these stupid pranks!"

Silence.

Tyler gulped back his fear.

The last thing he remembered was falling asleep with Josh by his side, feeling safe and secure.

That meant someone took him out of his room while Josh was there.

Which meant someone saw him in the same bed as Josh.

It was no secret that Tyler and Josh were close-the whole Clique was aware of that-but sleeping together? That was only a rumor that died out fairly quickly.

Now whoever did this, whoever took Tyler, would prove the rumor true.

Tyler reached up and tried to untie the blindfold, but the knot was too tight. He simply grabbed the piece of fabric and yanked it off his head.

His eyes squinted when the light hit them. Wherever he was, it was the middle of the night. The only light was a bright lamp on a nightstand next to the bed.

Tyler looked around the unfamiliar room, suddenly feeling incredibly small.

"J-Josh?" He squeaked.

As he expected, there was no answer.

Tyler's mind became fuzzy around the edges. He felt the familiar feeling of anxiety pulsing through his body.

"You're being ridiculous," his mind ridiculed him. "You're the leader of the Clique, act like it."

"Oh shut up," Tyler muttered under his breath.

He regained his composure and looked around the room one last time. It was familiar-Tyler knew he'd seen it before. But he just couldn't place it.

Tyler tightened the sheet around his waist and walked over to the door in the corner.

He wrapped his hand around the cool doorknob and twisted his wrist.

The door was locked.

When Josh woke up, he wasn't disoriented. He was used to Tyler's room by now.
