"I think you should take this chance. You've a quite impressive voice, don't waste your talent." Baekbeom gave his opinion.

"Should I? I really enjoy singing, but I never really imagine to bring it further." Baekhyun said, pursing his lips.

"Maybe it is a destiny that they found you and casted you right away. It is worth trying." His father said, giving a reassuring smile.

"I'm agree with that." His mother said, nodding her head.

It is not wrong to give it a try right?

-

His jaw dropped, seeing the big building up close for the first time.

"There is a feeling." He mumbled excitedly as his lips formed a smile.

He stepped into the building. The cold breeze from the air conditioner slapped his face, making him shivered.

As he was searching for the lift, a familiar group walk passed him, and his eyes automatically followed them.

His eyes landed on the female who is walking while looking down. She is talking with someone on her phone, probably her manager since he could hear that they're discussing about schedule.

Baekhyun knows exactly who is the female. He has been attracted to her voice once she debuted. She is also one of the reasons why he decided to stan the group, Girls' Generation.

His eyes keep following her until she stepped out from the building, getting into a black van.

He let out a deep breath, before continuing his way.

-

Baekhyun glanced at the other contestants who are practising hard while waiting for their turns.

He doesn't know that the people who interested to be a Kpop idol are so many, and he is sure they will continue to rise up Korean Pop status in all the world.

He flinched when a boy around his age took a seat beside him, smiling widely. "Hey I'm Kim Jongdae. What is your name?"

"Byun Baekhyun." He replied, shaking the latter's hand awkwardly.

"Are you practising? Did I just disturb someone else's live?" Jongdae asked.

"Oh, no. I just observed other contestants. I'm too nervous, so I can't practice in this state." Baekhyun responded, shaking his head in process.

"I totally can relate." Jongdae said.

Suddenly, the audition room opened, revealing a male who well known as Kangta. He is a very successful idol, and Baekhyun has some of his songs in his phone.

"Kim Jongdae!" He called.

Jongdae stood up, giving him a small pat on his shoulder. "All the best."

"You too." Baekhyun managed to reply before his new friend left him for the audition.

-

Baekhyun stepped into the room, bowing to the judges. "Good evening, I'm Byun Baekhyun. I love singing."

"So Baekhyun, can you show is what have you prepared for today?" A male who has a name tag written Lee Soo Man asked.

Baekhyun cleared his throat a few times, before warming up his voice. He then started singing as what he has practiced at home before.

He closed his eyes, putting all the feelings and emotions in the performance.

For him, feelings is the most important in singing. If the singer self let herself drowned in the feelings, then the listener can get the meanings really well.

As soon as he opened his eyes, the loud claps from the judges could be heard.

He smiled humbly, trying not to get proud with his own singing. He knows that he is lacking at his vocalization.

"Um, have you even tried any dances before?" One of the asked.

"Not really." He answered.

"You know that we gonna trained you for an idol group, not as a singer or soloist, right?" Kangta asked. "Do you think you can learn the dances?"

"I think I can. I'm sure I can." He replied.

He watched as the judges wrote down something on the paper.

"Okay, thank you for the cooperation." He said.

"Welcome." Baekhyun said, before stepping out from the room.

He let out a relief sigh, finally finished the audition.

He almost jumped off when Jongdae appeared in front of him.

"How is the audition?" Jongdae asked.

"Good." Baekhyun answered shortly.

"Can we exchange number? I would like to be your friend." He asked, taking out his phone from the pocket.

Baekhyun gladly gave his number, and they both walked downstairs, making way to their home.

As they were about to separate, Jongdae reminded him. "I hope we both pass the audition. Let meet again in future."
