Chapter Sixteen:
Jennifer's Point Of View:
"Home? What.. why do you want to go home? We're in Miami!" Dad said.
I shrugged. "I don't.. I don't care. I just want to go home. I don't want to be in a hotel room. I just wanna be in my room.
Dad furrowed his eyebrows. "Um... Alright. If that's what you want. I'll book you a flight for tonight, okay?" He asked.
I nodded. "That's perfect. Thank you." I nodded once, before turning to walk out of his room.
Before I made it out the door, he asked, "Did anything happen?"
"No, daddy. Everything is fine. I'm just a bit homesick, that's all." And I left.
                              ***Hours Later***
                              From: Daddy
The van is waiting downstairs in the back. I'll meet you there.
I sighed, and stuffed my phone in my pocket. The bellboy already took my luggage down, and I was sitting with Ryan and Chaz. "The van is here."
"Why are you going to leave? Is something wrong? We can fix it! We can get your mind off of it. Don't go, Jen. This trip won't be the same without you." Ryan pouted.
I smiled, as we all stood up, and wrapped my arms around both my best friends. "I'll call."
"Does Justin know?" Chaz asked as we pulled away.
"Yes," I answered, way too quickly. "He does. He couldn't change my mind. That's why he hasn't left his room." I lied.
"Oh... So we can't change your mind, I'm guessing.." Ryan said.
"Sorry, Ry. My mind is made up. I might come back soon... But I just want to get home."
"Call us when you land, okay?" Chaz asked, softly and sweetly. I nodded.
"I love you guys." I smiled, trying to lighten the mood. But it didn't work. They forces their lips into a smile, but it didn't stay for more than two seconds.
                              "We love you, too."
I hugged them once more, before waving, and leaving. I went down to the lobby, toward the back.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Dad asked me as I walked closer to him. He placed his hands on mg shoulders.
"Yes. I just need some space. Away from all the guys, away from Justin's fans. I need time to myself." I said.
"Why do I have a feeling that this has something to do with your relationship with Justin?" He raised an eyebrow.
I shrugged, and cracked a smile. "Fatherly instinct?"
He laughed, and pulled me into a tight hug. "Be careful, alright? And call me when you land, and when you make it home. Got it?" He pulled away.
I nodded. "I will, daddy. Bye." I smiled. He waved, and I got in the van. Before I knew it, I was on the private jet, and on my way back to Atlanta.
                              ***Home***
[Note: Her flight was around midnight, so when she arrived, it was around the middle of the night. The drive to her house was a couple of hours, so its morning when she got home, okay? Okay.]
