Chapter Eighteen:
                              Jennifer's Point Of View:
"J-Jennifer? What... What are you doing here?" he stuttered as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Yea, nice seeing you, too, Justin. I've been fine, thanks for asking." I rolled my eyes and began to walk away. He grabbed my wrist.
"Wait, I'm sorry. How've you been?" He asked.
"Better than you, that's for sure." I pulled my wrist out of his grip, and crossed my arms over my chest, leaning against my door.
                              "Alright," He sighed. "I, um..."
"I have to go. I told Caitlin I'd meet her downstairs so.. See you around I guess." I shrugged, but couldn't move because he trapped me, his hands on the wall on either side of me. I let out a breath.
                              "You look amazing." He whispered.
I sighed, crossing my arms over my chest. "Nice tattoos. They suit you... Kind of." I motioned to the tattoos on his arms.
He licked his lips. "Jen, I-"
"Stop," I held my hand up. "I don't want to hear it. I have to go." I said and pushed passed him.
                              "Jen, please.."
I walked over to the elevator, ignoring him. "Come on.. Come on.." I mumbled. The elevator finally arrived, and I stepped inside, and pressed the Lobby button. "Hurry up.." I whispered. I saw Justin running down the hall, and I continued to press the button, hoping it would hurry up and close.
Justin slipped in just in time, and the doors shut behind him. "Hear me out." He breathed.
"What? The way you listened to me six months ago? I don't think so." I snapped. He pulled out the emergency stop button, and the elevator stopped. "Justin, I have to meet everyone downstairs." I groaned.
"They'll understand. These elevators can take forever." He softly pressed me up against the wall. "You don't understand." He shook his head.
"I understand perfectly, Justin." My voice was just above a whisper. "You didn't want me. That's fine, you don't need to say anything." I said.
"No! No, I did want you. I do! I just... I was in a kind of bad place at the moment." He sighed.
"And what? You ignore me? You shut me out completely! Seems like you handled it on your own, pretty well. You didn't need me before, and you don't need me now. And aren't you the one who is claustrophobic?! Why the hell are we stuck in an elevator?!" I pushed his chest, but he didn't budge.
Someone's been working out... "Jennifer, calm down.. We have to talk." He said.
"No, we don't. Let me go." I pushed his chest, but he tightened his arms around my waist, pressing our bodies together.
"Not until we talk about this."
"Whatever." I scoffed. "You're the one who's going to think you're going to be suffocating in about five minutes." I tapped his chest. "So have fun with that."
"Jennifer," He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. Please, just... Just please. I'm really, really sorry. Don't hate me." He pleaded.
I pursed my lips. "A little too late for this apology, don't you think?" I managed to push him away. "Six months late." I pushed in the emergency stop button, and the elevator began to move.
                              "Jennifer, please." He pleaded.
"No." The elevator stopped at the lobby, and I hurried out. I dug in my bag, taking out my sunglasses, and putting them on.
