Madison's POV
I fluttered my eyes open to see Ross sound asleep on the floor with a blanket covering him.
"Ross, wake up!" I threw a pillow at him, causing him to instantly sit up, groaning as he rubbed his eyes.
"Why are you so mean to me these days, Mads?" He asked, his voice coming out groggy.
"I'm not mean," I pouted, attempting to hold in a giggle, "Why were you on the floor?"
Ross scrambled up off the carpeted floor, sliding onto the bed and propping himself up on his hand which was rested at my side to prevent me from getting out of bed. "Do you want me to be nice or the truth?"
"Both, please."
"Well, I was scared of you kicking me off the bed, and also, since we're dating, I don't want you feeling anxious about my intentions of sleeping with you on the same bed." He moved my bed hair out of my face, smiling as he caressed my cheek.
"What are your intentions, Shor? Enlighten me with the facts I'm unaware of." I teased him, trailing my fingers down his arms.
"I think you know." He leaned closer, brushing his nose over mine, gently pushing me back and unexpectedly crashing his lips onto mine.
I melted into the kiss - into his touch until I placed my hands on his chest to hold him back. "I think I definitely know now. What's the plan for today?" I cupped his face in my hands.
"Please. No more dates with other girls." He gave me a puppy look, sticking out his bottom lip.
"I wouldn't let you attend any." I poked his nose, pushing him back, standing up and rummaging through my closet to find a suitable outfit as I could already feel the warmth of the sun hitting my room through the curtains.
"How about we go to the beach then? I'll go make breakfast and you can get your beautiful self ready." I giggled when I felt his hands on my waist as he smooched my cheek before leaving to make breakfast.
Once I picked out an outfit which consisted of my bikini under a spaghetti strap top, denim shorts along with my converse. I felt so thankful that all of the scars had minimized. They were only noticeable if you were staring right at them.
I straightened my hair and put it up into a bun, knowing that, from previous experience of going with Ross to the beach, I would end up in the water.

I rested my head on Ross's shoulder, smiling as he held his hand in mine. It seemed unreal that I was with him - how my hand just fit so perfectly with his.
"Mads, why are you smiling like that?" Ross stopped, lifting my head and cupping my face in his hands.
"I'm happy with you." I felt blood rush to my cheeks and I placed my hands on his arms.
I jumped back when I noticed Riker running towards Ross, who didn't see this until his older brother jumped onto his back, tackling him down to the sand. Everyone burst into a laughing fit except Ross who was playfully glaring at Riker.
The family greeted one another, the boys doing complicated handshakes and Rydel and his mom pulling him into a hug, "I missed you guys!" Ross grinned, whilst returning the hug. Seeing Ross so happy made me happier than anything else.
Ross pulled away from the hug, grabbing my hand and pulling me closer to stand next to him. I heard Ross's younger brother, Ryland whistle, "Who's this chick, bro? Weren't you with Carter?"
"Ryland, if you actually let me speak, I was going to say that this is my girlfriend, Madison, who is also my best friend." Ross held my waist as he glanced down at me and I took this as the chance to ruffle his hair to remove the sand from his blonde locks. He smiled brightly; I couldn't help but bite my lip when I felt his hand slip to my butt. "I love you, babe." My eyes widened at his statement.
This was the first time he said this and honestly, my heart skipped a beat. "I love you too, Shor."
"Whoa, okay, man. We get the point. You two are dating." Ryland rolled his eyes as Ross pecked my lips and draped his arm over my shoulder. The others smiled and Rydel held her phone up. "You two are seriously the cutest." She giggled and Ross was blushing like crazy.
"When's the wedding, lovebirds?" Rocky spoke up, holding a dark-haired girl close to him.
"I'm Aubrey." She held her hand out politely smiling and I returned the gesture with the same polite smile.
"I'm Madison. Nice to meet you."
Ross laced his fingers with mine with his arm still around my shoulder, "To answer your question Rock, We will get married...just not yet."
Now it was me who ended up blushing.
As we walked along the breathtaking shore, Ross decided to stay behind the others, so when he stopped walking, they didn't seem to notice. Unexpectedly, Ross grabbed his camera, starting to take photos of me, "Smile, Mads!" I pulled several silly faces and grins.
He stopped, putting the camera away into its case and running off to catch up with his family to tell them something. He came back, approaching me with a smirk on his face. "Ross, I know that smirk."
I backed away, Ross's smug smirk not leaving his face when he scooped me into his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist and carried me out into the sea. I held onto him tightly, refusing to let go when he chuckled. "What's so funny?" I arched an eyebrow at him.
"Nothing. I'm just so in love with you, Maddie." He rested his forehead against mine.
"Aww, Ross that was cute but I don't really trust this situation with you holding me whilst being in the water, so can you like, reverse back to land, please?" I tightened my grip around him, burying my face in his bare shoulder. "Plus, you smell so good so I'm not letting go anytime soon."
Ross released a soft laugh, carrying me back like I had told him to. I smirked up at him when he attempted to set me down and I only slightly loosened my grip on him. He leaned down, placing me down onto one of the towels that the rest of the Lynch's family had set down. They all made themselves comfortable on their own towels.
I began laughing for no obvious reason when Ross fell on top of me, propping himself up on his elbows and resting his head on my chest. "Why are you being so touchy lately, Ross?" I whispered, threading my fingers through his hair.
"I'm sorry. I don't mean to if it's making you uncomfortable." He lifted his head up to meet my gaze.
"I'm just curious, Lynch." I finally managed to calm down from my laughing fit.
"I just really want to show you how much I love you." His fingers traced small shapes over my skin under my top.
"Don't you think that it's too soon? We haven't been dating for that long. I don't know if I feel ready to do it." I nervously bit my lip. I didn't want him to think that I didn't want to, and then leave me for another girl, but I knew that he wouldn't do that. He wasn't that sort of guy.
"I know. That's why, we'll do it whenever you're ready, honey." He pecked my cheek, resting his head on my chest again and closing his eyes.
