Madison's POV

There was nothing I could do but sit nervously on the bed and wait for Ross to return to our room. I nibbled on my lower lip, wondering what the hell he and Ryland were talking about. And more importantly, what was going on with the youngest Lynch? In the few times we had met, never had he tried to hit on me. He knew I was with Ross, in love with the blonde, yet he was trying to make a move? It just didn't make sense to me.

I thought the moment we would wake up after a night of nothing but love and passion, that we could enjoy some breakfast and just spend the day together. Ryland ruined that.

I shot up off the bed faster than a speeding bullet the second the door opened. Ross walked in, his jaw clenched and his hair sticking up. He was no doubt running his fingers through it. "What happened?" I looked for any signs of blood or cuts, praying he didn't hurt his little brother.

"My brother's fucking drunk." He shook his head, obviously pissed. "Saw four empty beer bottles in his room when I walked in. Was trying to open a fifth one, but I stopped him. He's a jackass when he's drunk."

"You didn't hit him, right?" I hesitantly asked, resting my hand on his upper arm. The last thing I wanted was for the two brothers to fight and ruin their relationship.

"No, but I really thought I was going to for a second. Kept trying to tell me I wasn't good enough for you, and I swear I saw red for a second."

I silently cursed the younger Lynch, hating the things he said. "Whatever he said was a lie, okay? You are the best thing that's ever happened to me, Ross. He never should have said that, drunk or not. We both deserve each other, and that's all that matters."

He let out a sigh, dropping his head to rest his forehead against mine. "I've never been so mad at him before," he murmured, closing his eyes for a moment.

I nodded understandingly, cupping his cheek softly. "I know it's hard because he's your brother, but try not to let him get to you. Like you said, he's drunk. He probably didn't mean it."

"I hope so," he slowly wrapped his arms around my neck, pulling me as close as possible until my head rested on his chest. I wrapped my own around his waist, gently rubbing my fingers up and down his back. "I hope he didn't make you feel uncomfortable."

"A little," I admitted, shrugging a little. I tightened my grip around him. "But it's okay. Let's just forget that ever happened and order some room service." I tilted my head back to look at him. "Sound good?"

He finally gave me the smile I was waiting for, leaning down to quickly peck my lips. "Sounds great."

~*~

After enjoying a delicious breakfast and putting the Ryland situation behind us, we spent the rest of the day in our hotel room, just relaxing in bed as we stayed glued to each others side. We may or may not have used the shower for an activity other than washing, and I never wished for a soundproof room more.

I wanted nothing more than to just stay in the hotel a little longer, not ready to go back to reality. It was like we were in our own little bubble, protected from the outside world. I knew the moment I went back to work and Ross continued working on his album, that our time together would be short. He would spend most of his time at the studio, and once his album was finished, he would promote it. I was so happy for him, but I was going to miss seeing him every day.

I unpacked my bag shortly after we got home, smiling softly as I caught sight of my dress. Last night was absolutely perfect. He was so careful and gentle, not wanting to hurt me. Despite not knowing that he had taken my virginity, he still treated me like I was a delicate flower that would crumble if handled incorrectly. I could still feel his hands on my skin as he took my dress off, my skin burning at his touch. The fire he ignited only intensified as he used his mouth to pepper kisses all over my body.

I was pretty sure I was addicted to his touch.

I jumped slightly as I felt arms wrap around my waist, snapping me out of my trance. I bit my lip as I fought a grin, setting the dress down on my bed before turning in his arms. "You seemed to be deep in thought. What were you thinking about?"

I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck, tangling my fingers in my hair. I brushed my lips against his, resisting the urge to just kiss them. "Last night," I whispered, smiling when his cheeks flushed.

"That was amazing," he agreed, smirking. "We should definitely do it again. And again. And again."

"You just don't want me walking anymore, huh?"

"That means I'm doing my job, babe."

I shook my head, unable to resist anymore before I pressed my lips to his. He gripped my hips, pulling me closer as he kissed back, applying more pressure that sent my heart racing. I wouldn't be surprised if it burst out of my chest with a giant smile.

Okay, that would actually be creepy. Never mind.

With a little hesitancy he pulled back, his breathing slightly labored. He dropped a kiss on my forehead before sitting down on my bed, pulling me down onto his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist as mine did the same. "You know, the wedding had me thinking a lot about our future."

"Me too." I admitted.

"I know we haven't been dating long, but I know you're it for me. I'm done going out on meaningless dates with girls I don't really care about, because the only girl I care about is right in front of me." He leaned forward and kissed my shoulder, sending tingles down my spine. "I hope I'm not scaring you with all this, but I just wanted you to know."

"I'm not scared, Ross." I smiled. "I'm far from scared."

A flicker of nerves flashed across his face before it quickly disappeared. "Does that mean you think about it, too? Us getting married and having a future together?"

I nodded. "I do."

He smiled in relief, his tense shoulders sagging. It was like he needed to hear those words. I knew I did, because a small part of me was worried that he didn't see a future with me. That certainly wasn't the case. "You have no idea how much I needed to hear that." He pressed his lips to mine, pulling away too quickly for my liking. "So, future Mrs. Lynch, how many kids do you want?"

I let out a small giggle. "That better not be your proposal."

"Believe me, when I propose, you won't see it coming."

I couldn't wait.
