"Hey, quiet down, well ya?" that figure asked and hearing his voice, I knew it was Dean but that didn't make Corine scream any less. Dean cover her mouth while turning on the lamp on the nightstand.

He wore different clothes from the ball. He wore a black shirt with dark blue jeans, easier to camouflage in the dark. Dean let go of Corine which resume her asking "What the hell do you want?!".

"You haven't answered all my questions yet," Dean answered. That was true. Corine left before Dean could even finish his questions.

"Wait. How did you find me?" Corine asked.

"Well, I just followed you," Dean answered with a shrug.

"And how did you just follow me?" Corine asked with a mean glare.

"Well, after the thieves did a disappearing act, I saw you and you ran with them. So I tagged you." Dean calmly explained.

"OK," Corine said, breathing a bit. "That's when you found this place and followed me here.".

"That's right!" Dean said with bravado.

Corine couldn't believe this. She was followed by the last person on earth she wanted to see. And here he was calmly staring at her while she was freaking out that someone found the hideout.

If Ape and the rest of the gang knew that, she was going to be dead in ten seconds.

"Hey, you look pale. You alright?" Dean asked, an obvious concern on his face.

"Yeah, I don't need your sympathy," Corine snapped. Alright, she needed to fix this situation immediately!

"Dean..." Corine said in a menacing voice. That name on her tongue was like sandpaper. "Get out of here or else," it ended in a subtle tone.

"Or else what?" Dean seemed the least faze. In fact, he felt humoured. Corine just shot him a look and Dean looked a little more worried but he added " Until you answer my questions.".

It was a long time for Dean to wait for Corine's answer. He was a bit jittery.

After Corine twisted his arm, he felt such a longing for her and even ditched his parents at the sight of her just for her to answer his questions. It was a huge relief when Corine slowly but surely nodded.

"Ok, you never got to tell me your name," Dean stated, "since you know my name, tell me yours."

Corine had to be extremely careful about this and took a bit of time to answer. "Rita," she finally decided.

"OK, Rita." Dean said, not really believing her. People don't take time to say their names. Something's wrong, he thought and continued " Is this really your home?".

"Yes, it is," Corine answered. Actually it was her home. She has lived here since she started stealing.

"If you say so," Dean said. "And another thi-" he was interrupted by Corine who screamed "Enough with the bleedin' questions!"

Comprehension dawn on Dean's face. Corine hoped he didn't know. She cursed silently for interrupting. Patience was never her forte.

Seriously, she had enough of his damn questions. A long silent ensued until Dean spoken up, "Corine, is that you?".

Hope began to die down right there and then. Corine's look was now mutinous. Dean bombarded her with new questions. "Where were you? Do you know how worried everyone was? I assumed you were dead!".
