Ghost was approaching the sword. Corine didn't want him to do anything with it so she did the most appropriate thing.
"Stop!" Corine shouted at Ghost advancing toward him.
With a snap of his fingers without even looking at Corine, she froze. She couldn't move or do anything. She helplessly watched him take the sword and examined it.
'What was he going to do?' Corine wandered. Another snap and Corine was kneeling as Ghost turned around, glaring at her.
If looks could kill, that would have killed her in the most painful death to hell 10 times! Then, Ghost said "Where did you get this?!".
But it was not in that same eerie voice and it was not Dean's either but more like two voices colliding.
"My mom was the owner of this sword but she died so I took it and it's been mine ever since!" Corine answered, scared of what Ghost was up to.
"Yours, eh?" Ghost asked, skeptical and back in that same eerie voice. Then, he plunged it onto the floor, the cement craking under the strength of that push.
"Pull that up then!" Ghost ordered and wondering whether this was a trick or not, Corine hesitated.
"What are you waiting for?! Hurry up then!" Ghost was getting impatient and not wanting to feel his rage, Corine immediately pulled out that sword.
It glowed when she pulled it out and shone majestically when held high by Corine.
Ghost was surprised and he kneeled down "You are the one," he said and then two ghosts appeared out of thin air.
Dean's eyes turned to normal but he was passing to unconsciousness. Then the room turned back to right side up and Corine used her jet pack shoes to soften Dean's fall.
In her arms, Dean did not stirred and she laid him gently on the floor. Riddle was also fine but still hid himself from the ghosts view.
Smart choice as the ghosts approached her. They were the old couple that died in this very mansion. They looked as old as people said but they felt quite young. You can just feel it.
They had an eerie light on them and they were human or best said solid but not fully human. So unlike the ghosts she had heard about.
For one, they had to be transparent! But they are so seeable. Like the people!
They kneeled before Corine. She was quite surprised by this gesture when they wanted her out, they now kneel to her as if she was an extremely important person!
"Wh- what is this?!" Corine asked in great shock. She was extremely nervous and confused.
"We beg forgiveness, all mighty Chosen One!" the ghosts said.
'Chosen One?' Corine thought and somehow that thought echoed around.
"Yes, indeed, Chosen One!" the male ghost said. Corine's cheeks reddened. Did she say her thoughts out loud?
Trying to take in the situation quickly, Corine asked "Why?".
"The sword, the sword!" the female ghost said.
Corine took one look at the sword with all it's gleaming might and asked "This thing?".
The ghosts looked insulted. "I don't even know why you were chosen but the sword chose you and we are here to serve," the male said.
"What, why?!" Corine asked. What role did the ghosts play with this sword?
"Well, our names are James and Brittany McHolly and we are the descendants of the great Craig McHolly and he was friends with the great Lennard or more known as Len," the male ghost, James, said.
