Drinking coffee, that man felt energized looking at the screens, not really taking it, contemplating. It couldn't be true. No, it can't.
It's been hours and still he can't get over it. Still remembering the news sent by that burly man, the news of their leader, that woman, dead. Grief poured over every part of his body and he did something...
Well, he's good and buried and he will not let that happen again. He watched the footage, all of it until it was cut off. He wasn't even sure who killed her. One of the most loyal of the people to his cause.
But he was sure he knew who did it.
'Corine... I'll get you for this.'
Killing her. Kidnapping Dean. Yet he put a price on her head and there was no satisfactory results. Darn!
He initially planned to kill that girl, knowing the full dangers of her astray, more like wanting a clean job until he met with some acquaintances.
They knew of his intent to kill the girl so warned them of the consequences and how to stop it.
Give them the sword and he'll have the girl. He sent his most loyal people to infiltrate the girl and steal that sword with the information needed. But they failed, not having the sword.
Or so he thought.
"Sir!" a teen boy came to him.
"Yes?" he said and turning around to look at him, he found out the answer.
The sword, in all it's glory, was in the boy's hands. Immediately, like lightning, the man snatched the sword and in a hoarse voice asked, "Where did you get this?"
"Found it in the torture room of that warehouse, sir," the boy replied.
The man nodded, "Leave me."
The boy saluted and ran out.
The man went and pick up a burner phone from his pocket and it answered with the first rang, "Yes," a voice called out.
"I got what you want. Come out and get it. Then, up your end of the bargain, otherwise..."
He heard laughter and a reply, "Don't worry. Just give me the sword and I'll get what you want."It hung up.
The sword in his hands reflected him and looking at it straight to the eyes, he knew... just knew... that that girl will get her comeuppance.

"Is she alright, doctor?" Dean asked in a hospital.
"She will be fine," he answered, "but I wonder what that girl went into..." he shook his head.
Dean just nodded, green hair dropping to his eyes. The rest were outside while Dean was just talking to the doctor in Corine's ward. All of them, of course, are in disguises.
"Anyway, she'll be back up in a jiff. You're welcome to visit her anytime," the doctor said.
"Thank you," Dean said and when the doc left, he wasted no time rushing to Corine's side at her bed.
Seeing her awake, Dean immediately asked, "Are you OK?" and hearing a voice behind told him that Riddle was at her side worrying about Corine.
Corine smiled weakly and said, "Fine... Don't worry," which did not calm anyone, instead agitate them.
"You sure?" Riddle said.
"Yes, go on. Figure out what to do," Corine muttered. But strong was their desire not to leave her that Dean and Riddle stayed until Corine smiled softly and urged them to go, did they go.
