Carlos's POV: Carlexa

*Carlos’s POV*

               The guys and I sat at the table and made small talk with Dustin; we all tried really hard to keep the conversation light for Kendall. It’d felt like forever since he’d come downstairs. I got up from the table and went over to the fridge, “Anyone want a beer?” I asked as I grabbed one for myself.

               “Me!” James said. I tossed him one and then went to sit back down. “So Dustin, what have you been up to?” James asked him.

               “Just living day by day really. Writing some new music, hanging at the beach,” Dustin said. He looked at Kendall and then said, “I’m going back to Kansas for a while, to see Heffron Drive for old time’s sake.”

               “That sounds awesome,” Kendall said with a smile; everyone knew it was as fake as his acting like he wanted to be here. The doorbell rang again; I assumed it was going to be Kevin and Kenneth. “I’ll get it,” Kendall said as he pushed his chair away from the table and got up.

               “Hello,” he said as he opened the door. Well that was formal; he wouldn’t say that if his brothers-oh shit. I looked at the blond girl who was standing on our porch. It was my girlfriend Alexa, the relationship that I hadn’t told the guys about yet. So who invited her over if nobody else knew?

               “Hi is Los here?” she asked.

               “Come in!” I yelled. Alexa walked in and made her way to the kitchen where the guys and I were. Kendall shut the door and followed her in. “What are you doing here?” I asked her curiously.

               “A little birdie told me that you guys were going to have a “Cheer Up Kendall” party so I decided to come. Cause you know, who doesn’t love actors from Spy Kids?” she said with a huge grin and a laugh.

               “Who was this little birdy?” I asked her.

               “Ask Logan about that one,” she said as she came to my side and wrapped her arms around me.

               “More importantly,” Logan said quickly changing the subject, “Are you two an item or something?” he asked with a cheeky grin.

               I rolled my eyes, “As a matter of fact, yes. Yes we are, and I wasn’t going to tell you guys yet because I wanted the perfect time and place for everything,” I told him.

               “Awe Los is keeping secrets from us!” Logan replied.

               “It’s like you’re in the eighth grade!” James said ruffling what little hair I had on my shaved head.

               I pulled away from him and made a pouty face. Alexa kissed me which made me smile against her lips. I laughed a little bit and then said, “I love you.”

               “Awe!” the guys chorus.

               “Shut up you guys!” Alexa said as she pulled away from me.

               I smiled because I knew how lucky I was to have such an amazing girl.
