We came up on the white mansion faster than I thought we would, man this dark apocalypse is really taking its time to take over. Most houses were covered in black ice trapping people inside. Dark snow covered the entire area making the place look like a volcano erupted awhile ago. Never mind, this dark apocalypse is moving fast.

"Wait, I have to break my family out their house," I called.

"I almost forgot that they were stuck in there," Midnight sighed.

"Trust me, I think that is the safest place for them," Tyler insisted.

"I need to know that they are ok," I growled.

"Alright but I want to get to the team as fast as possible." We ran to my house. When we got there, the black ice was still on top of the door. Actually, my entire house was covered in black ice! I shouldn't be surprised, my house had the black ice on top of it making it look like a dark jagged castle.

"That's cold," I grunted.

"Don't worry about it. It will melt in the spring," Tyler joked with a smile.

"It's December!"

"You thought it was August for awhile," Midnight laughed.

"But you know why that happened!"

"Then let's speed up time," Tyler stated. My hands slowly caught fire as I ran to the door and banged on it, it cracked slowly. It was not deep either, the cracks looked too small to even make a difference.

"Hello? Is someone there?" I shouted. Inside the house was shuffling, I started to worry.

"Yeah! Adara is that you?" Damon shouted.

"Yeah! Are you ok?"

"Yeah but it's freezing in here,"

"Don't worry I'm gonna get you guys out of there." I started banging on the ice, but it stayed the same. My banging was doing nothing to the cracks I made before. The shadows started dashing around the house. I tried to ignore it but they started to get extremely close to me. Then they pulled me away from the door and started circling me. Tyler shot one bolt of lightning and they turned to black dust. "Maybe you're right. They might be a little safer in there." We backed away from the house and they surrounded us but they didn't attack us. "Awkward silence," I whispered.

"Maybe they are scared of us,"

"Or maybe they are just waiting for the main event." A woman sneered. She was a large void crawler, a size smaller than Nightmare but bigger than me and Tyler. She looked the most human out of all of them as if she was just covered in shadows. The odd thing about her was her pale blue glowing eyes, I frowned slightly as she grinned at the two of us.

"Who are you suppose to be?" I asked.

"Shadow, you're coming with me,"

"Um no, I just got back and I would like to stay in one place for at least a day." She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms in irritation. I stood my ground, she looks like a mad parent than an actual monster.

"I don't think that you have a choice." She can try, she is more annoying than Nightmare. Then we started fighting, I didn't have time to summon my weapon so I just started throwing daggers. Then I had a break and brought out my sword but there was still snow everywhere so I didn't have that much energy left. A crawler tackled me onto the ground and started choking me. It held it sharp claw hand in the air as I tried reaching for my sword. Then a giant boulder came and it flew off me. It was Andrew and the rest of the team.

"About time you guys showed up," Tyler puffed.

"We didn't even know that you guys were here," Andrew snorted.
