Void Crawlers

It was at the end of the movie when the robot was going to explode to save the day, I don't like that part. The robot is too awesome to die. However, I started to feel eyes on me and began looking around the room. Outside the window was a dark figure looking straight at me. It had shining blue eyes and they were huge.

"What is that?" I whispered to Tyler.

"Probably an owl, let's just finish watching the movie." He whispered back. Don't remember owls having arms like wings and being human size.

"Are you sure? You didn't even look at it,"

"Don't worry about it." I tried to keep watching but those eyes were starting to make me uncomfortable. I got up slowly and grabbed my coat, luckily no one heard me sneak out the house except Midnight.

"What are you doing out here?" She asked.

"I thought I saw something,"

"It was probably nothing. Let's get back inside, it's freezing out here." She walked inside and I was about to follow when the door slammed in my face. I tried opening it again but it wouldn't move.

"Hello, open the door!" I shouted. The figure showed up behind me along with three others. The figure pulled me away from the door and threw me in front of the others. I threw up my hand and burned off my gloves. They froze and stared at my hands. They're afraid of me, but it wasn't long before that turned into a lie when they realized that I just got these powers. The other one had a whip and hit me right on my leg. They came closer and was about to grab me but the closest one turned to dust by an ice arrow.

"Run Adara!" Amethyst shouted. I darted away, two of them followed and the lone one separated into six. I was limp running, that whip left a huge cut on my leg and had black marks around it. The other figure tried jumping on me but it fell apart when it got hit by yellow lightning. Tyler and Kris were running behind us. The other figure jumped on me and we tumbled right into a hole.

"Adara!" Tyler shouted. We were free falling and I couldn't even see the floor. Then felt it release me but also felt like I went through a shredder. Something was tightly wrapped around my waist.

"I gotcha, barely." She said. Tyler came behind her and helped lift me up. This is the strongest vine whip in the world. I climbed out as everyone showed up.

"What, in the world, were those things?" I asked.

"Void crawlers," Kris said.

"I call them black bugs," Amethyst added.

"Are you OK?" Tyler asked.

"A few cuts and scrapes, I'm good." Started walking forward but completely forgot about the huge cut on the back of my leg.

"You can barely walk," Andrew said. They cut me off when trying to say something against it.

"Nope, no talk," Anthony said.

"Come on, we have to fix that," Tyler said lifting me up.

"Now I feel crippled,"

"You would be crippled if we had a wheel chair." A guy said walking up to us. He had spiky hair and a red coat, there was no symbol on him what so ever. He also looked like he was trying to pull off that bad boy look.

"The last thing we need is a wheel chair, Ike," Tyler said. I tilted my head slightly, for some reason I was having trouble understanding.

"I'm Ike, also a mind reader." I smiled a bit. Try reading my thoughts. "How do you clear your mind like that?"

"I didn't know I could," I stated back quickly. I didn't even do anything. He began looking at me with a more puzzled face.

"Is it like a block?" Kris asked.
